WHAT DO YOU DO?
I manage most things creative, from Instagram story layouts to creating images for our blog, clients, and ads. I also run email marketing and head lead generation for community member recruitment/brand on-boarding.
WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
Said yes to absolutely every opportunity to meet new people and collaborate. I freelanced for a bit with photography and then met my, now, boss through an open meet and greet.
How do you stand out in your field?
I don't let the restrictions of a client brief confine me to the bare minimum. I thrive on meshing my style with the given direction.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
An editorial with an up and coming magazine, managing the creator side of a few influencer campaigns, and optimizing email funnels for the company I work for.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
I'm enthralled by simplistic fashion photography with a use of a shallow color palette similar to that of @jensingvarsson and I'm on my way there. I do however have an absurd obsession over those who can create images that provoke emotion without human subjects.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
Would love to learn more about programming and being able to code websites.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
Creating separation between personal work and my day job.
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
Handling my schedule!
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
Back in 2014 I wish I could have told myself to trust my intuition and to take away the best aspects of advice from peers, but never let others influence the body of my work.
IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
Creating original assets to generate overnight revenue
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
Photography and Art Direction based jobs. Opportunities to work hand in hand with a team of creatives on making work that's a combination of the best ideas between the group.
DESCRIBE YOUR IDEAL JOB/CLIENT/COLLABORATION.
I like to be part of the process. That being said, the ideal client has a clear idea of the result they want to achieve, thus relaying ideal reference images to me, making it possible to clearly create based on what their expectations are.
WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE, RETAINER, OR SALARY RANGE?
For photography my hourly is all dependent on the project. For my project with Study-NY I shot their social assets, delivering 60 unique images for a total of $6,000 across two months. For smaller projects, where I'm given resources such as studio, EQ, and a team, I've been able to work for around $1,200 for a full day, delivering 10-15 unique images.
As far as salary goes, I've been on board as an Art Director for a small agency for $50,000 working 50-60 hour weeks.
Is that enough to come up with a general idea of what my rates are? As of today, I quit my job and am open to anything as well as am very flexible with my rates.
HOW SHOULD SOMEONE APPROACH YOU ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER?

HOW DO YOU STAY CREATIVE?
Encompassing myself with other passionate creatives.
