Squarespace provides you with image-rich, modern templates that undeniably command your attention right off the bat. With it’s simple backend, it’s one of the easiest websites to manage. However, there's still a lot of options and will take some time to learn.
Under the guidance of Eva Goicochea, a web and branding consultant, and Jennifer Puno, a UX/UI designer, you will walk away with a fully functional, beautiful Squarespace website by the end of this workshop.

Prereqs & Preparation
Your computer. Check that your software and browsers are up to date. This avoids waiting time for updates and helps us make the most out of our workshop. You can check if your browser is up to date using Squarespace’s Browse Freely tool.
Not required, but Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
It always helps to prepare a list of your top two questions you'd like covered during your session.
About the Instructors
Eva is a veteran in branding, communications, social and digital media. She has developed her content abilities as a writer/editor for Your Daily Thread, Scoutmob, Virgin Atlantic, and through her own two blogs, Monkey in LA and Mister Boffin, and has designed websites and identities for businesses ranging from interior design firms to online retailers.
In 2012, Eva launched The Boffin Society, a gastronomic and social community in Los Angeles. She is a co-founder of Reed, an ecommerce website launching in 2015, a company that brings together like-minded and aesthetically aligned content creators, and ILOVECREATIVES, a weekly digital classifieds serving the creative community.
A true digital native, she first began using a computer (the Macintosh II) in the late 80s.
A creator, digital designer, and entrepreneur at heart, Jennifer Puno is the Co-Founder of Map—an online platform that celebrates people and their journeys. Map allows you to save and view beautiful photos and stories of places from anywhere on the globe, to inspire real world adventuring. You can find and share incredible locations through its like-minded community of passionate explorers.
This past July, she also co-formed ilovecreatives, a digital classifieds website connecting talented individuals in the creative community. You can find her in Iceland making Star Trek gifs, out and about collaborating with other creatives, or in DTLA on the hunt for the city’s best food.
