Job Summary

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating art/designs for the Junk Food brand.



Job Duties

  • Create visual presentations by designing artwork for presentation to buying teams.

  • Conduct trend research to identify the latest and upcoming trends.

  • Create original on-trend graphics.

  • Create hot lists and CAD updates.

Qualifications

  • BA or equivalent in Graphic Design

  • 5+ years of female apparel graphic experience

  • Experience with vintage licensed artwork a plus

  • A passion for design and a good understanding of market trends

  • Proficient in the latest Photoshop and Illustrator programs

  • Proficient with administrative/company programs outside of Adobe

  • Strong freehand skills

  • Strong sense of typography and composition

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong understanding of screen printing process and techniques and basic garment

  • Must be able to demonstrate a pulse of what is trending at retail

  • Must be very organized and have the ability to multi task

  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines, self-manage timelines and work in a team environment
