THE JOB:
Creative content production, focused on photography for the social networks of fashion and lifestyle brands. We're looking for someone we can give some tactile products (accessories, paper goods, home goods and assorted props) and light creative direction to, and who will create beautiful, fun and high quality images-- see below for examples. This role is freelance, and can be between 5-20 hours per week, work to be done remotely with occasional meetings in LA.
THE COMPANY:
Story Group is composed of marketing strategists, social community builders, writers, prop stylists, producers and other creative types. We're a group of independents, working together on projects for clients that are growing their e-commerce businesses and social followings. Yes, we know our website is literally a blank canvas, but we'll tell you everything about our clients, projects and ambitions of world domination over coffee.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
You've got an eye for photography, whether your weapon of choice of an iPhone or a Canon. You can frame an Instagram shot like a master, and if needed, make it look even better with some mobile editing or one of your favorite filters (which you have very strong feelings about. Never Valencia.). In the perfect world, you're proficient in Photoshop, too. You're a creative, an excellent communicator, happy to work independently and always proud of the work you deliver.
