Navajo Water Project

Why we love
this site

Non-profit sites need to have a fine balance. They need to convey social issues clearly, with urgency. They need to inspire you emotionally, yet appear friendly.

The Dig Deep Navajo Water Project states their mission right off the bat in 💧big bold letters.💧 Layering images and gifs on the homepage is a risky move, but it works to convey the sweeping problem: no one should have to fight a pandemic without running water. Simple elements like mixed type and strategic color blocking highlight the content without drawing attention to the design. It all works.

Clear visual hierarchy adds urgency, and good use of color grabs attention. This section has both! 👏

Lots of cool elements here, especially these sections that create a narrative while still providing a clear CTA (Call-to-Action).

This infographic is super clever and a smart way to break down complex problems. It’s a simple background image, so no coding is involved! 💪
