Q What do you do?

I help brands resonate in culture by bridging strategy, story and creative—sharpening the brand foundation, then bringing it to life through campaign strategy, creative direction and content.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

My roots are in editorial—writing and creating content across Who What Wear, Byrdie and MyDomaine. I didn't realize it then, but those early experiences became a catalyst for everything that followed. I learned how to make people feel something, and how to connect a brand to culture. Something that's been a throughline in my work ever sense.

From there, I went brand-side. I was on the founding team at Perelel as Director of Content & Community—a women's vitamin brand that went on to be named Wellness Brand of the Year by Glossy—and later returned as Senior Creative Director.

I also spent time agency-side as Strategy Director at Invisible Dynamics, where our team led the brand transformation and cultural revival of Gap across brand strategy, campaigns, social, collaborations and more. Our work has been industry-recognized. And along the way I had the privilege of working across Nike, Banana Republic, Formula Fig, Beyond Yoga, Solid & Striped, PAIGE and more.

No matter the brand—early-stage startup or global icon—the constant has always been the same: telling a story that creates belonging.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I'm comfortable in both strategy and creative thinking—and have held leadership roles in both. I've also done that work from a lot of different vantage points: in-house at larger commercial brands, on early-stage founding teams, agency-side with global businesses, and in editorial.

My career path hasn't been linear, and I'm very grateful for it.

Q What are you working on right now?

Right now I'm building out my consulting practice—working directly with brands and founders in fashion, beauty and lifestyle on brand strategy, creative strategy and direction, and campaign work.

Q What’s your style?

Clean, artful and editorial.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I love brand building at the early stages—there's something magical about it. I also quite love creative direction and bringing the visual and verbal expression of the brand to life.

And personally—I wish I had time to paint more.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

My early twenties, working in magazines. I was going around the clock, terrified that if I missed an opportunity it would never come back. I'm beyond grateful for the experience and the work ethic it taught me—but I would tell that girl to relax. It will all work out.

 

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

Honestly, art or interior design—which have been occupying my headspace the most these days.
