✨ Chelii Johnson’s (amazing) client, Diana, is looking for an Instagram Assistant who’s great with short-form, loves IG + is plugged into the trends.

We’re looking for someone proactive & trustworthy who will take ownership of IG, growing with us long term with support from us on ideation and designs. ❤️

You’ll work closely with my client (the founder: course creator) to execute the short-form content strategy we develop together. You’ll help with the posting schedule, help brainstorm or refine content ideas, and stay on top of trending audios or styles. We’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to help her shine on social media!

Responsibilities

Content Posting & Scheduling:

  • Post, schedule, and optimize short-form videos (Reels) following our brand guidelines.

  • Maintain consistency with daily/weekly post schedules on Instagram (and potentially YouTube Shorts).

Trend Research & Idea Generation:

  • Keep a pulse on fresh IG/Shorts trends, audios, and visuals.

  • Suggest new angles, hooks, or creative spins relevant to our audience.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Report directly to our founder and our producer for guidance and feedback.

  • Communicate any hiccups, questions, or insights in a timely manner

  • Attend occasional check-in calls to share updates on performance or new ideas.

Tools & Hours:

  • Familiarity with Instagram, Shorts, and scheduling apps (e.g., Later, Planoly, or equivalent).

  • Estimated ~5 hours/week to start, flexible schedule (with some overlap for communication).

Notes:

  • You’ll get brand guidelines and style references from the Founder and the Producer.

  • You’ll get clear vision & strategy from the Founder and Producer (so you’re not on your own for strategy).

  • We LOVE new ideas!

Requirements

This is NOT for you if…

  • You’re brand-new to IG without any prior posting experience.

  • You dislike taking direction from a strategy or style guide.

  • You tend to disappear or miss deadlines without communication.

We’re looking for someone who…

  • Genuinely loves scrolling through social media for inspiration.

  • Has a keen eye for what’s trendy on Reels or Shorts, especially in the online business or freelance space.

  • Demonstrates creativity, detail-orientation, and enthusiasm for marketing.

  • Is comfortable with receiving feedback and working collaboratively.

  • Ideally has a basic portfolio or examples of past IG/short-form video work.
