Role Overview

The Junior Copywriter brings the Friends Everywhere voice to life — across social, email, web, and client work. This role is responsible for writing clear, compelling, and emotionally resonant copy that reflects FE’s point of view, energy, and creative intelligence.

From Substack essays and Instagram captions to client campaign copy and web messaging, this role helps shape how FE shows up in the world — and how our clients communicate with theirs. You’ll work closely with the Intelligence team, Creative team, and Client Experience team to craft copy that feels human, elevated, and culturally aware.

Part storyteller, part editor, part creative collaborator — the Junior Copywriter helps translate ideas into language that moves people.

  • Grow FE’s voice and visibility across digital channels

  • Support client projects with strong, strategic copy

  • Ensure writing across all touchpoints feels aligned, intentional, and high-quality

  • Help build a consistent, recognizable FE tone of voice

  • Bring fresh cultural insight, language, and storytelling into the studio


Responsibilities

FE Social & Publishing

  • Own the writing of all Friends Everywhere copy across Substack, Instagram, LinkedIn, website, and email

  • Develop first drafts, headlines, captions, and long-form writing that reflects FE’s voice, values, and creative POV

  • Partner closely with the CEO, Intelligence Leadership, Creative Leadership to review, refine, and elevate all copy before publishing

  • Incorporate feedback and direction to ensure final outputs are aligned, polished, and on-brand

  • Adapt messaging for different platforms while maintaining a consistent, recognizable FE tone

  • Manage copy through FE’s workflow tools (Monday.com, Google Docs, Figma), ensuring drafts, reviews, and approvals stay on track

  • Share work in-progress for feedback and alignment before final publishing

  • Support publishing schedules across social, email, and Substack


Client Projects

  • Own copywriting for client projects across social, web, campaigns, and brand storytelling

  • Translate creative direction and strategy into clear, emotionally resonant written work

  • Collaborate with creative leadership and client teams to review drafts, shape messaging, and finalize copy

  • Revise and refine work based on feedback to reach the strongest possible final execution

  • Ensure all client copy meets both brand standards and strategic goals


Creative Collaboration

  • Work in close partnership with the Client Experience team, Creative team, and Intelligence team to bring concepts to life through language

  • Participate in brainstorms, creative reviews, and concept development

  • Use feedback as a tool to strengthen clarity, tone, and emotional impact

  • Help evolve FE’s writing standards and brand voice through iteration and collaboration
