Lashbox LA is looking for a full-time Senior Art Director to implement and maintain the brand vision across packaging, social media, web and events. The candidate will oversee a team of designers and work collaboratively with the founders to ensure the company stays on brand and is on the forefront of visual innovation.
Base Salary Range: $125k - $150k annually
Schedule: Monday - Friday (some weekends may be required)
Location: Remote (with possibly some in-person team meetings)
Reports to: CEO/VP
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 3 days sick leave, 401K at 4% match, Health and Dental Plans available after 90 days.

Description:
The LBLA Senior Art Director will be responsible for the overarching creative vision for Lashbox Pro across all packaging, digital and events. The candidate will oversee a team of designers and work collaboratively with the founders to ensure the company stays on brand and is on the forefront of visual innovation. They will be responsible for developing concepts and creative ideas for video and photography projects across multiple platforms and will be hands-on in executing those ideas. Must have a strategic mindset to approach every project with a robust design aesthetic and a keen sensibility for messaging and communication that will best answer client's marketing/business objectives. In addition, the Art Director will help direct and maintain the standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability of a project.
The ideal candidate should have multifaceted art direction experience with a diverse portfolio including consumer goods, beauty retail, luxury goods, and technology working with motion graphics, photography content, video content, digital content, and print material. This candidate must also be a self-starter, well organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Responsibilities:
Art Director will be responsible for creating and executing elevated, brand-relevant design, photography, video, and animation, including seasonal campaigns, e-commerce, and social assets.
Lead and manage a team of designers, filling in as needed, and providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure high-quality work.
Improve and manage the creative process, workflow deliverables and team utilization to deliver outstanding visual projects.
Work with Lead Producer on set for photo shoots, and video shoots from concept through completion to ensure the level of excellence in all creative work designed and executed.
Concepts: shoot briefs and designs, on-set and photographic/video art direction, timeline management, and execution of all assets.
Delivering direction and supervision of retouching, production, and of all execution for the campaign to ensure consistency and cohesiveness.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and other departments, to understand project requirements and objectives.
Coordinate with the social team on the development and execution of paid ads and organic design heavy assets.
Oversee the packaging development process leading conversations with 3rd party vendors as needed.
Lead creative vision for in-person training, trade shows, and events including but not limited to experiential creative, print and digital signage.
Position Qualifications:
College degree in Creative Arts or Graphic Design.
Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite.
5+ years of experience directing photoshoots in luxury or beauty.
5+ digital and print graphic design experience in luxury, beauty, e-commerce merchandising.
Understanding of emerging platforms and new forms of content creation
Experience in utilizing a strong brand identity to drive direct response
Experience in generating or directing concepts for image-making content (photo/video/social)
Digital editorial/blog or social media experience a plus
Extensive knowledge of best practices for both web and pre-press print execution is a plus.
The ability to take direction, iterate on ideas, and create design solutions in a timely fashion.
