About Martie & The Role
Martie is an online shopping platform on a mission to make quality goods accessible and affordable for everyone, while keeping perfectly good products out of landfills. Every day, millions of dollars worth of products from brands people already know and love never make it to shelves — not because they’re bad, but because of a date on a label, a packaging update, or a simple forecasting error. Martie intercepts that excess and turns it into an opportunity for shoppers, for brands, and for the planet.
We’re looking for a Designer to bring the Martie brand to life across campaigns, marketing channels, and brand assets. This is a hands-on production role for someone early in their career who is sharp, fast, and deeply interested in building a brand that people genuinely love. You’ll work closely with the CMO and VP Brand & Strategic Partnerships, and your work will show up everywhere — email, social, site, ads, vendor materials, and campaign creative.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Creative
Design campaign assets across channels — paid social, email, organic social, and on-site — that are on-brand, attention-grabbing, and built to perform.
Support campaign launches from brief to final assets: sizing, versioning, and formatting for every placement.
Iterate quickly based on performance data and feedback — you’re comfortable making something great and then making it better.
Brand Visuals & Assets
Produce brand assets that maintain consistency across every touchpoint — templates, graphics, iconography, and visual elements that make Martie instantly recognizable.
Help maintain and evolve Martie’s visual identity as the brand grows — keeping assets organized, up to date, and easy for the team to use.
Support vendor-facing materials: pitch decks, one-pagers, and partner assets that represent Martie professionally and on-brand.
Day-to-Day Design Support
Turn around design requests quickly and reliably — the team moves fast and needs a designer who can keep pace.
Collaborate with the CMO, VP Brand & Strategic Partnerships, and growth and retention teams on briefs, feedback rounds, and final delivery.
Contribute ideas. You’re not just executing briefs — you’re a creative voice on a small team where good ideas are welcomed from everyone.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of design experience, ideally in a brand, marketing, or agency context. A strong portfolio matters more than years on a resume.
Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Motion or video editing skills are a plus.
A strong eye for typography, color, layout, and the visual details that separate good design from great design.
Experience designing for digital channels — social, email, and paid ads — with an understanding of how format and platform affect creative.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and turnaround times are tight.
Organized and reliable — you manage your own workload, communicate proactively, and deliver on time.
Genuine interest in Martie’s brand and mission — you want to help build something, not just execute tasks.
What We Offer
A front-row seat to building a brand from the ground up at a mission-driven, high-growth company.
Direct access to senior creative and marketing leadership — you’ll learn fast and your work will matter.
Competitive compensation for an early-career role.
A small, high-energy team that cares about the work and the mission
