Medley is DTC furniture company redefining the industry with its commitment to fully sustainable, customizable, premium furniture. We’re out to change how the industry thinks about making furniture, and also change how people think about what goes into their homes.
We’re a small, family-run business where everyone wears many hats as part of a highly collaborative and, might we add, incredibly fun team. We’re searching for someone who is equal parts writer, designer, and social media strategist. Hopefully that’s you!
Who You Are:
A creative storyteller who understands how to connect with our target audiences across all social channels using great copy, imagery/video and community interactions A self-motivated go-getter who has excellent communication skills, both written and visual, and is able to juggle multiple projects at once with ease An analytics lover who uses data and analysis to determine what tactics are inspiring our audiences and driving business goals across social, email, and editorial channels A bold experimenter who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight, and inspire our consumers through each content pillar A nature enthusiast eager to be part of a company actively working to protect and heal the planet through its manufacturing practices and initiatives
What You’ll Do:
- Lead our programming strategy, editorial voice and content development for Medley’s social media, email, blog, PR, and collaborations
- Work closely with the founders and outside contractors/collaborators, ensuring all content follows platform best practices and will resonate with our engaged audience
- Analyze processes and workflows and make recommendations for improvements
- Help develop and design marketing campaign assets for a variety of efforts
- Regularly pull, analyze and report on KPIs while thinking critically about future strategies and tests
- Write copy and scout/create compelling visuals across our social, email, blog, and more
- Stay up to date on social media and industry trends across all platforms
What You'll Bring:
- 6+ years experience in social media and copywriting, ideally with additional design and/or editorial experience
- A genuine love for mood boards and Pinterest (we know it’s not just us!) with the ability to bring a creative vision to life
- Expert in social media analytics and reporting
- Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels
- Ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate strategy to the team
- Basic knowledge of the Adobe suite (especially Photoshop and Premiere) preferred, along with Canva, - - - Mailchimp/Campaign Monitor, and Shopify
- A passion for the planet and how we care for it
