The Role
Medley is seeking a talented Content Strategist + Designer to work alongside our Brand Director shaping our creative vision and marketing strategy in the sustainable furniture market. We’re small but mighty and big on figuring things out together. We're looking for someone who can wear multiple hats—part wordsmith, part designer, and part creative marketing strategist.
Overall, this position will involve inspirational content development, collaborative problem-solving, and deadline-driven work. If you love seeing your creations make an impact and this feels like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
Content Creation and Planning
Create, plan, update and maintain content across our channels
Lead creative for photography and video assets, from initial shoots through end product
Email Marketing
Manage email marketing strategy from creation to deployment: design, scheduling, database management, testing, and reporting within Klaviyo
Analysis and Reporting
Regular analysis of email marketing efforts
Monitoring what content resonates with our audience
Continuous a/b testing across signup forms, website pages, and more
Website
Refine product and page copy for positive user engagement and function
Regular audits and cleanup of information and content
Wireframe, conceptualize, and refresh web page designs with developer help
Print Media
Conceptualize, design, and write copy for all print media, and coordinate with printers / producers to bring print pieces to life
Style Guides
Maintain and follow brand's internal guides that define Medley's brand voice and visuals
Ad Creation
Create designs, copy, and video for paid ads on social media channels and Google
Coordinate with third parties to strategize and brainstorm ad creation
Social Media Strategy, Planning, and Maintenance
Create posts, reels, stories and pins for IG, FB, and Pinterest accounts, along with regular posting for each channel
Customer outreach: engage, comment, and reply on social media channels
Influencer and Affiliate Management
Initiate and manage brand partnerships
Who You Are
A designer with a strong eye for typography, layout, and experience in digital design
A great writer and communicator
Passionate about design and sustainability
Thorough understanding of today's media landscape and how people engage with content
Organized with high attention to detail
Has great time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize projects
Has the ability to work independently; driven by entrepreneurial spirit
Qualifications
Portfolio demonstrating design sensibility: please email us 2-5 examples of recent design work along with your application, or provide a link to your website
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
Basic HTML and CSS skills are great, but you’ll also have developer help for custom builds.
Knowledge of Klaviyo, Figma, Asana, and video editing softwares are preferred. If you’re not familiar with each but open to learning, that works for us, too

$70,000 - $85,000 + profit share
