Meteorite is seeking a freelance, part-time designer who is personable, passionate, and has a solid work ethic.

The majority of our work is focused on developing marketing and brand assets that reach a very broad demographic of professionals who want to connect their employees and customers to take action on some pretty big social issues of our time (for example, our two main projects focus on getting America’s workforce vaccinated and voting, and our partners include Ad Council, the CDC Foundation, the Clinton Foundation, and Democracy Works).

Though this gig is currently part-time (~20 hours/week), we need someone who can be available during standard West Coast working hours (8:30am to 6pm) to respond to things as they come in. (We’re a Slack and Google Docs team, and always open to ways we can make the workflow more efficient.)

We’re specifically looking for someone with experience in:

  • making google doc presentations sing

  • creating marketing/brand assets with a very close eye to detail

  • paying close attention to representation through stock imagery

  • creating simple motion graphics and light video editing

  • designing engaging Mailchimp newsletters

  • coming up with creative solutions for event and resource promotional graphics

  • building out web pages, and (bonus) using Webflow

Experience: ~2-5 years
