OM Digital is seeking a talented video content creator who loves to craft sensational work inspired by the music, fashion, and art worlds. The ideal candidate is a skilled video editor and creative collaborator who merges technical expertise with a creative, experimental, and art-driven approach.

This is a full-time position and we’d like you to work most days in our downtown LA studio (but we’re flexible about working from home). You will be an indispensable member of OM’s creative studio, working with a team to bring ideas to life. Get over here already!

You should be able to:

CREATE:

  • Work masterfully in Premiere Pro and After Effects to create polished, music-driven video edits that incorporate video, music, and brand graphics.

  • Think beyond the cut—work with our creative team to integrate thoughtful graphics, textures, styles, and effects that support the creative brief.

  • Execute stunning color grades to enhance visual quality and/or deliver a specific stylized look.

  • Deeply understand your medium: the historical references, the trends, the techniques—and how to implement them.

  • Understand and work creatively within technology limitations.

EXECUTE:

  • Properly organize and package files and assets, paying attention to details.

  • Work with our tech team to deploy and test projects on our in-house video creation software.

  • Troubleshoot issues that result from the handoff between creative and technology.

  • Refine and optimize your work based on testing and on-site situation. This will often require you to work remotely or on-site in tandem with our video production team.

  • From time-to-time work as a live, on-site editor, and/or manage freelance on-site editors when quick turnarounds are needed.

INNOVATE:

  • Research emerging trends and techniques and integrate learning into your work.

  • Uncover opportunities to improve all aspects of OM’s video practice including the creative results, the technical quality, and the efficiency of our processes.


Required Skills:

  • Premiere Pro Expert

  • Experienced with After Effects

  • Photoshop & Illustrator Adept

  • Basic motion graphics

  • Music and audio editing

  • Live (on-site) video editing

  • LUT specialist & color grade like a pro

  • Encoding and export specialist—optimize video for social media and other channels

  • Green screen keying

  • Last, but not least: an exceptional team-player
