The first and only OB/GYN-founded vitamin brand, Perelel offers targeted nutrition for different stages of a woman's hormonal journey—from fertility, menstrual health, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.


Position Summary:

The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Senior Social Media Manager and the content arm of Perelel. You will be a pivotal player in our mission to empower and educate women about their hormonal health through compelling storytelling, engaging content, and community-building on social media platforms.

You’ll need to be comfortable leveraging insights to inform content creation and drive meaningful connections with our audience while positioning Perelel at the center of brand-relevant social conversation. Reporting directly to the Senior Social Media Manager, you will create, execute, and optimize social media initiatives that align with Perelel’s brand identity and business goals.

This person is highly proactive, a self-starter, and a visual storyteller.

This is an entry-level role with 1-3 years preferred experience working in social media content and strategy.

Responsibilities:

The Social Media Coordinator’s role will primarily focus on:

Content Creation

  • Create and edit content with a strong eye for aesthetics and virality across TikTok, Instagram (photo & video), and YouTube Shorts

  • Manage end-to-end ideation and content creation of social-first content for Perelel’s social media channels

Content Creator Program

  • Support creator research, outreach, and contract tracking in collaboration with the Sr. Social Media Manager and Sr. Creative Director

Calendar & Project Management

  • Help manage the day-to-day, monthly, and quarterly social media calendar alongside the Sr. Social Media Manager

  • Track asset timelines, submit briefs, and coordinate with Brand and Creative teams in Asana

  • Publish content across all channels

Social Execution & Insights

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn based on data, insights, and platform trends

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors to inform content, community, and creator strategies

  • Support weekly and monthly reporting

Community Management

  • Own community management and moderation across platforms

  • Maintain close relationship with CX team with guidance from manager to stay up to date with operations and customer service updates

  • Monitor influencer/community tags and maintain influencer tracking systems

  • Assist with logging gifting efforts and supporting giveaways or contests


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

  • This is an entry-level role with 1-3+ years of relevant, hands-on experience preferred in social media management and content creation, preferably in the health and wellness or lifestyle sectors.

  • Mastery of Instagram, TikTok and familiarity with Youtube & YouTube Shorts, plus a keen interest in emerging social media platforms.

  • Exceptional content creation and video skills: comfortable and confident on camera, editing videos, shooting images, and creating real-time content.

  • Exceptional and proven track record of ability to project manage and deliver projects on time.

  • Strong communication, written and verbal skills, and attention to detail.

  • Proven track record of contributing to successful social media campaigns, driving engagement, and achieving measurable results.

  • Passion for reproductive health, body literacy, prenatal, and related categories strongly preferred (hormonal + menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, and motherhood).

  • Fully immersed in the cultural zeitgeist—you have a knack for not just hopping on trends, but staying one step ahead (i.e., you are a very “online” person).

  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, CapCut, Canva and Photoshop, and/or other design software is a bonus.

  • Passion for storytelling, community building, and women's health advocacy.

  • A customer-first mindset, with a passion for creating memorable content moments; willingness to challenge “what’s expected” when it comes to the brand content landscape.

  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries, building cross-functional relationships and advocating for brand outcome.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
