Structured is a highly-collaborative, energetic, and all-around good-vibin' agency of excellent humans looking for a dedicated, passionate, takes-pride-in-their-work Senior Designer that can collaborate with clients, copywriters, and eventually lead junior designers. We work with amazing DTC brands that are just as bright and colorful as we are, and we want someone to match!

Role:

If you're a Senior Designer with a sharp creative eye, leadership chops, and a collaborative entrepreneurial mindset to deliver top-notch creative for clients, then read on.

As a Senior Designer, you'll collaborate with copywriters and use your design best practices to create stunning, functional, bad*ss emails. So yeah, we want a designer who actually knows what an email should look like in 2021. Essentially, you'll lead the team day in and day out as a unicorn designer –– someone with a keen, high-caliber design eye who makes a positive contribution as a leader without the interference of pride or ego.

In the day-to-day, you can expect to context switch between client accounts (all of which are wonderful to work with...your vibe attracts your tribe!) creating show stopping work while acting as a guide to our junior designers to train and empower them to produce their best work (more on this below!). Also, dropping the occasional gut-busting meme or banger playlist of the week highly highly encouraged, but not required.

Now the nitty gritty!

Qualifications:

  • You are a unicorn designer who takes pride in their work

  • You have a positive attitude and others find you a joy to collaborate with

  • You have leadership chops to be an effective mentor to juniors

  • You openly embrace feedback from superiors...no egos here!

  • You have 6+ years experience as a digital designer working in a creative agency setting (or brand-side) and...

  • Ideally you have about 1-2 years of experience designing email campaigns for a brand and/or clients

  • You slay the more granular deets with a strong attention to detail

  • This client one minute, another client the next...it doesn't matter, because context-switching is your middle name

  • You've got a little experience with branding and/or typography under your belt, and want to grow in this area!

  • You navigate Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and/or Sketch like an actual wizard

  • You have some experience managing a team and/or project management systems OR you'd love to explore/grow your capabilities in this area

  • You have experience with team communication tools OR you can't wait to learn how we collab with other amazing Structured humans

Responsibilities:

  • You'll show up ready to take on each day with effective time management

  • You'll be responsive via Slack for team collaboration and communication to crush the day-to-day!

  • You'll work directly with the Head of Design to perfect and optimize the email designs on your docket in Notion

  • Doing the above means you'll be collab-ing with other Structured do-ers on your accounts to ideate and deliver high caliber creative campaigns

  • You'll own the heck outta being the lead designer on your client accounts in every way shape and form like the nugget of design opalescence you are

  • Those email designs you crush with your incredible talent will have a focus on high-functioning UX because you actually know what an email should look like

  • You'll train and lead junior designers to support on client design campaigns, manage design deadlines, processes and final product.

  • You'll be vocal with Head of Design on your bandwidth, insight, thoughts, opinions, dreams and more because you want to grow in your role, reach your optimal potential, and comfortably (frazzle-free!) bring only your best to the table
