What I love about this project is how it brings together a story that genuinely fascinated me and visual ideas I wanted to explore. I initially set out to create a website about The North Face, but while researching the brand, I discovered the story of Douglas Tompkins. The result is an extensive project about his journey — from mountaineering and building a business to protecting the natural world.
