Q What do you do?

Claire Brodsky is a dynamic content creator and creative producer known for crafting viral, story-driven social media content for some of today’s most exciting fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands.

With a sharp eye for digital trends, Claire has built a career at the intersection of storytelling, brand identity, and community engagement.

She has collaborated with notable brands including Estée Lauder, Cynthia Rowley, Aligne, Eberjey, and Rothy’s, helping bring their vision to life through engaging, narrative-driven content.

Claire works directly with founders and in-house teams to ideate, shoot, and edit compelling social-first video content—specializing in TikTok, Instagram Reels, and on-location creative direction.

From fashion labels to cult beauty brands, Claire brings a refined aesthetic and expertise to every project. Her approach is rooted in authenticity, high energy, and a deep understanding of what truly resonates online. Whether she’s scripting, shooting on-site, or briefing creators, Claire builds content systems that convert views into brand loyalty.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

To get to where I am now, I’ve been really intentional about gaining hands-on experience across both digital design and social media. I started by studying Communication Design at Elon University, where I built a strong foundation in visual storytelling. From there, I pursued roles that allowed me to develop my creative skills at scale—first at Cosmopolitan Magazine as a digital designer, and then at Coach, where I worked closely with Art Directors on social media campaigns, emails, and e-commerce design.

Alongside those roles, I consistently built my own personal brand as a content creator, growing my audience to over 25K followers and collaborating with brands to produce lifestyle, beauty, and fashion content. I eventually launched my own creative studio, CB Design & Creative, where I work directly with clients to ideate, shoot, and edit compelling, social-first content. I’ve worked with brands like Estée Lauder, Cynthia Rowley, Eberjey, and Rothy’s, combining my visual design background with my influencer and production experience.

Each step has built on the last—combining traditional design, content strategy, and on-camera work to carve out a niche that blends creativity, production, and social fluency.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I stand out in my field because I bring a rare blend of traditional design training, on-camera presence, and strategic social media insight. What makes me unique is my ability to think like a strategist, create like a designer, and perform like a content creator. I understand what audiences engage with, I know how to execute visually, and I’m not afraid to get in front of the camera to bring a story to life.

Q What are you working on right now?

Right now, I’m freelancing across a range of projects. I’m creating social media content for Eberjey, while also taking on ad hoc projects that include photoshoots, events, and street style content. I work with brands to produce and edit content for social, often capturing behind-the-scenes moments, influencer-style videos, and lifestyle imagery. Through my studio, CB Design & Creative, I’m also focused on growing my client base and continuing to build my personal brand across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. No two weeks look the same, which is what I love—it keeps me creatively sharp and constantly evolving with what’s trending in the digital space.

Q What’s your style?

My style is very bold and colorful. I love artwork and fashion that is fun and draws your attention right away.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

While I’ve developed a wide range of skills across content creation, social media, and production, I’d love to focus more on photography—especially street style and event photography. It’s the part of my work that feels the most creatively fulfilling and instinctual. I love capturing real moments, unique details, and the in-between shots that often say the most. I’d like to spend more time honing those skills, exploring different techniques and styles, and pushing myself creatively in that space. It’s an area where I see a lot of potential for growth, both personally and professionally.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Energy. I am super passionate and excited about projects but just don't have all the time in the day to feel super energetic and motivated. Many times I just want to relax in my apartment, read a book, or watch mindless TV!

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

I'd have them help with sending pitch emails and sourcing new contacts to expand my network.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

I wish I told myself that everything works out. Continue working hard and going for your dreams but also take time to just enjoy your life, friends, family and live in the moment.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

If I could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, it would be about mastering the art of visual storytelling through photography and video. I’m really interested in understanding how to better capture authentic moments and emotions, as well as learning the latest techniques and creative approaches that make content truly stand out. Getting that kind of knowledge would help me elevate my work and connect more deeply with audiences.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

I'm looking for content production projects that involve filming behind the scenes, event capture, and campaign assistance. I'm also open to UGC opportunities, sponsored partnerships, and freelance writing assignments.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

I’m eager to collaborate with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands that align with my creative vision.

Q What is your rate?

My rates vary depending on the project scope and type of service. For example, social media content creation and video editing typically start around $150 per video, with package discounts available for ongoing work. On-site content shoots in NYC generally begin with half day projects at $500 and full-day projects with travel can range from $1,000 to $3,000. I’m also happy to work with solopreneurs and small businesses, and I offer discounted rates for longer-term commitments or bundled services. Pricing can always be tailored to fit your specific needs and budget, so feel free to reach out to discuss what works best for you.
