Q What do you do?
“I am a Digital Designer and Content Creator living in New York City. I work on beauty, lifestyle and fashion brands creating eye-catching assets. From swipe worthy carousel posts to trendy tiktoks,I am always a step ahead with anything social. l love adding different mediums into my work to set herself apart and add a personal touch to all of my assets.”
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
For the first few years of my career, I worked as a digital merchant in Women’s RTW at Macy’s.I have always leaned towards the creative side but went through many obstacles and experiences to realize Digital Design is my calling. I graduated from the AAS Communication Design program at Parsons Fall of 2020. I took my first Graphic Designer role at a flower company and I have worked her way up now at a creative agency.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
Having a background in Digital Merchandising and now Graphic Design & Content Creation, I have extra skills that are needed in my field. I have a strong understanding of how visuals influence consumer behavior and drive sales. I am able to look at work and make sure I am balancing creativity and strategy. My overall goal is to follow the brand strategy and the customer experience is impeccable.
Q What are you working on right now?
Right now I am working on a handful of projects. From email design, to content creation for fashion brands, and my biggest project is creating a content design studio. I love putting myself out there and pushing my creativity.
Q What’s your style?
My style is modern with a warm, approachable edge. I love using texture, color, and detail. I have a strong eye for brand identity, creating visuals that feel cohesive, curated, and aspirational while still relatable. My work leans towards lifestyle, fashion, and creative brands that wants polish with personality.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I would love to focus more on fashion and deep dive into website design and more brand identity as well.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Time and comparison is what is holding me back. The amount of ideas I have but not having the time to get them done is frustrating because by the time I get to it, I am behind. Comparison is the thief of joy. It’s hard to not scroll and see amazing work and think to myself I wish I could do that or if I had a few more hours in my day I could’ve done that. Telling myself everyone has a different path and time line and that is okay.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
My goal is to be able to hire someone to help me shoot content for my personal content creation. I love being a content creator for other brands and I know how much help it is to have another hand to get the right angle and suggest creative ideas. I am all about a tripod but this would make my everyday just a tad easier.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
It’s 2020- Just finished my AAS program in the height of covid. I wish I could’ve told myself everything will work out even though the world was at a halt. I did teach myself illustration during this time and made an online Etsy which definitely helped me get my first Graphic Design job.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I am a nerd about strategy and analytics. One of my internships was about fashion trends and the analytics of those trends. I would love to gain more insight on reading trends and what we should really do with the information.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I am looking for freelance opportunities- mainly remote. Based in NYC so I am able to go into the office/events when needed. Open to digital design and content creation projects.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
I would love to get back into the fashion world but open to beauty and lifestyle brands as well. I am open to start ups to established companies/brands.
Q: What is your rate?
$45-50 Hour
Q How should someone approach you about working together?
I would love to be emailed for any opportunities with budget, brief, and how long the gig is and start date.
Q Who is a creative you admire?
Jennifer Goz is a beautiful photographer. She knows how to capture emotion in such a beautiful way! I have worked with her a handful of times and every time I have such an amazing time!
Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?
Give me a magazine and scissors, I will make the coolest moodboard.
