Jasmine McDaniel
Q What do you do?
“I help small businesses get organized and look polished and increase visibility.”
Everything from project coordination and client follow-up to social media, Canva assets, email campaigns, and workflow setup.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I’ve worked in a seemingly discordant variety of roles throughout my twenties. Everything from luxury retail, bridal sales and nonprofit operations, to assisting a creative founder and working in childcare and household management. I felt insecure about my non-linear career path for a long time but then I realized there’s been a very clear through line the whole time; I've spent my career helping organizations and clients create better experiences through thoughtful communication, strong operations, and relationship management. I decided I wanted to hone in on that experience and support creative business owners by alleviating the operational weight of running a business so they’re able to spend time doing the work that truly lights them up.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
Working closely with passionate creatives (and being one myself) I’ve seen the exhaustion that comes from trying to juggle the disparate elements of a business while staying inspired and buoyant in your creative pursuits. It can often look like trying to keep a bunch of balloons from floating away. I’m here to bring a sense of calm and clarity, create systems that are specific to each client, and deliver work that is true to each brand’s voice and the creative behind it.
Q What are you working on right now?
Currently working as a Marketing Assistant at a small interior design firm. While building my portfolio supporting creative business owners as a freelancer.
Q What’s your style?
I’m drawn to work that feels thoughtful, elevated, and deliciously human. I love a strong visual identity, but I’m equally interested in the details people don’t always see; the clear follow-up, the organized project, the well-timed email, the Canva template that makes someone’s life easier.
My work for Francis Blumer Interior Design reflects that intersection of creativity and organization. I created branded marketing pieces such as brand pamphlets and postcards to print and help the studio connect with potential clients and industry partners, while also supporting the studio’s broader marketing and project coordination needs.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I have always been a big writer. I would love to do more content writing for email campaigns, brand newsletters and brand voice copywriting.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
I would tell my 23 year old self I’m so proud of her for trusting her gut and taking big leaps. I would also tell her just because you’re not seeing big results in a specific area doesn’t mean you’re not growing. Some things just can’t be rushed.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
Ooh I love this question! I would love to have coffee with Dolly Parton and pick her brain about what authenticity and self expression meant to her. And how she saw that narrative evolve collectively throughout her life. Authenticity can be such a buzzword. I would love to talk to someone whose self expression was so clearly woven into everything she did.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I’m looking for opportunities to support small creative businesses and founders who need an extra set of hands to keep projects moving and the day-to-day details organized.
I’m especially interested in ongoing creative operations support. Project coordination, client communication and follow-up, social media and email marketing, Canva content, and setting up simple workflows and systems that make running a business easier.
I love working behind the scenes to bring structure to creative work while making sure the final experience feels polished and intentional. I’m open to both short-term projects and ongoing support, and I’d especially love to build long-term relationships with creative business owners as a trusted partner they can rely on.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
My ideal collaboration is with a founder who knows their brand and vision, but doesn't necessarily have the time or systems to bring every idea to life. I would love to be an extra set of hands and eyes to bring your work to the people who need it.
Q How should someone approach you about working together?
Send me an email at vividdazestudio@gmail.com and we can set up a consultation call. I can’t wait to get to know you!
Q Who is a creative you admire?
Currently obsessed with following Meadowland herbs! If you love hand crafted tea and Instagram reels of chamomile meadows Tasha’s your girl!
Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?
Late night dance parties in my kitchen and making things out of air dry clay.
