april is seeking a midweight freelance graphic designer to support our Marketing & Sales teams.
Responsibilities:
Asset creation: Creating new assets (GIFs, images) that show how our products works using existing UI Figma files
Production work: updating and preparing design files for various platforms, mediums, and sizes
Sales support: Design visually appealing and engaging sales materials, including presentations, one pagers, infographics, and more.
Social assets: Designing assets for social media (Linkedin, blogs, newsletters) - sometimes utilizing templates and sometimes creating from scratch
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements, target audience, and design specifications.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve designs and meet project objectives
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to deliver high-quality designs that align with current design standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a graphic designer, either as a freelancer or in-house.
Understanding of UI/UX design, and basic product design principles
Proficiency in the following software and tools: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Google Slides, Keynote, and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout.
Experience executing against brand guidelines.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Availability for 8-10 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate project requirements and deadlines. Potential to scale hours up in the new year.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing sales materials and presentations in a corporate setting.
Ability to create animations and motion graphics.
