About the Role

Bonnie Clyde, an indie eyewear brand based in Los Angeles, is looking for a designer to work closely with our founder and core team across product, brand, marketing, and physical experiences.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who is extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and visually sharp, and who thrives in fast-moving, slightly chaotic creative environments. You’ll help translate ideas into clear systems, refined visuals, and tangible outcomes across eyewear design, campaigns, retail, and physical brand touchpoints.

You will not be setting overall creative direction; instead, you will be deeply involved in executing and refining it.


What You’ll Do

Product & Eyewear Design Support

  • Assist the founder in the design and development of eyewear silhouettes, details, finishes, and colorways

  • Help visualize ideas through sketches, layouts, references, and design mockups

  • Support decision-making around materials, proportions, details, and overall product presentation

  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure designs translate clearly into manufacturing-ready assets


Graphic Design & Brand Assets

  • Own day-to-day graphic design needs across the brand, including:

  • Marketing materials

  • Campaign assets

  • Flyers, signage, and printed matter

  • Physical brand collateral and special projects

  • Ensure all assets align with the brand’s visual language and level of polish

  • Prepare clean, organized, production-ready files for both digital and physical use


Retail, Pop-Ups & Physical Brand

  • Support visual design for pop-ups, retail spaces, and physical activations

  • Help design and prepare signage, displays, layouts, and in-store graphics

  • Work with internal teams and external partners to bring physical brand concepts to life


Art Direction Support

  • Assist with art direction for product and campaign shoots

  • Help with visual planning, references, layouts, and on-set support as needed

  • Flag inconsistencies and help maintain visual cohesion across shoots and deliverables


Collaboration & Organization

  • Work closely with:
    -Founder (design)
    -Production team
    -Content team
    -Marketing team

  • Bring structure, organization, and clarity to creative projects

  • Help track assets, versions, files, and references so ideas don’t get lost

  • Be proactive in creating order where things are messy, without needing rigid systems handed to you


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6+ years of experience in brand design, graphic design, or a related field

  • Strong visual taste and a sharp eye for detail

  • Highly organized — you naturally bring order to creative chaos

  • Comfortable working across product, graphics, and physical environments

  • Experience preparing files for both digital and physical production

  • Clear communicator who can work across teams without friction

  • Excited to work closely with a founder and be deeply involved in the creative process


Nice to Have (but not required)

  • Experience supporting product design, especially physical products (eyewear, fashion, accessories, or consumer goods)

  • Comfort working with proportions, materials, finishes, and colorways

  • Experience working in 3D design tools and/or preparing files for 3D printing or prototyping

  • Familiarity collaborating with production or manufacturing teams


Compensation

  • $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience

  • Full-time, Los Angeles-based

Opportunity to grow into a more senior role as the brand scales
