Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, content-obsessed Social Media Manager to lead and execute Chillhouse’s social media strategy. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record of growing a brand’s social channels. This individual must be passionate about social content, highly creative and data driven, and deeply knowledgeable about the latest trends and best practices in social media.
Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy:
Own strategy and execution for Chillhouse’s Instagram (both @chillhouse and @chillhousesoho), TikTok, Threads and Pinterest (plus YouTube as we grow)
Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Chillhouse’s brand values and business objectives
Develop and manage social media content calendars to ensure timely and consistent posting across all platforms.
Content Creation and Management:
Produce engaging and original content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube and or other relevant platforms according to social trends.
Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Marketing Manager to brief and assign 2-3 freelance content creators
Collaborate with Head of Marketing to brief designers and editors to generate high-quality visuals and videos that reflect Chillhouse’s brand voice and aesthetic.
Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and creativity.
Grow and Engage Social Media Audience:
Increase followers and engagement across all social media channels through targeted campaigns and community-building efforts.
Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly
Collaborate with Community Coordinator to garner and publish user-generated content to foster a strong digital and IRL community.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on social media growth, engagement, and ROI to the leadership team.
Use insights from analytics to optimize content and strategy continuously.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:
Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Marketing Manager to ensure social media activities integrate with the broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in social media management, within the CPG industry, preferably beauty.
Proven track record of growing social media channels and driving engagement - come with the stats!
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
Comfortable and confident on camera, creating content fo social (Instagram, TikTok (TikTok Live), etc.
Excellent communication skills and ability to write compelling copy.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for brand,
Passion for social media, digital trends, and content creation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with social media management tools
Emerging or professional hand model ;) Your hands will be in content regularly
Must be located in NYC and work in our Soho office ~3 days per week
