Role Overview:

Cowboy Colostrum is looking for a bold, detail-driven Lead Designer to help shape the visual language of a brand rooted in raw wellness and ancestral grit. As our in-house design lead, you’ll be responsible for translating our brand ethos into compelling design across social media (organic + paid), events, print and 360 digital assets.

You’ll own the look and feel of our social graphics, event posters, merchandise, and digital ads—ensuring every touchpoint feels sharp, elevated, and unmistakably Cowboy. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll work closely with our CMO and founding team to develop graphics that drive community, conversions, and cultural conversation.


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience is digital design

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools

  • Experience with Organic Instagram (concepting -> delivering final asset)

  • Web Design + UX

  • Storyboarding + direction for short form video

  • Brand Design

  • Past CPG experience preferred


Responsibilities:

  • Develop scroll-stopping Instagram content that feels editorial, not templated. Think product highlights, punchy carousels, and bold educational graphics.

  • Develop content for paid ad's

  • Design posters, signage, and invites that elevate Cowboy’s presence at community events, pop-ups, and stockist locations.

  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and technologies to keep the brand ahead of the curve

  • Manage assets + design systems: Keep working files, templates, and brand guidelines organized and up-to-date for internal and external use

Role: Full Time Lead Designer

Salary: $100K

Location: Remote

An initial freelance contract of 3 months will be in place, after which the role will convert to full-time employment.
