Eclat Public Relations is looking for a dynamic and media-savvy Public Relations and Social Media Associate to become a vital part of the creative team operating from the West Hollywood office. Candidate will be working on several projects ranging from Design, Architecture & Lifestyle and report directly to our Manager and Creative Director.

DUTIES

  • Curate content on various social media platforms for the company and select clients

  • Create photographic material featuring products, projects, behind the scenes

  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content

  • Work as part of a team to develop social media campaigns

  • Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation

  • Analyze and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects

  • Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content

  • Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers

  • Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits

  • Write and distribute press releases & brand collateral copywriting

  • Manage proactive & reactive press and marketing requests

  • Assist with Social Media content research and creation

  • Media Monitoring and Reporting

  • Management of image and press assets library

  • Management of international media database

  • Day to day support for communications department as needed


DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • An innate sense of aesthetic and passion for Design, Architecture & Lifestyle

  • Attention to detail & excellent organizational skills

  • Basic Photography & Videography skills and an eye for detail

  • BA Degree in PR, English or Communications preferred

  • 2+ years of PR experience in-house or agency and/or editorial experience at a major media outlet

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to execute day-to-day communications initiatives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital media

  • Solid knowledge of social media platforms, including IG and Pinterest

  • Passion for design, deep familiarity with luxury lifestyle space, and an eye for emerging trends

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with ease

  • Solid Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop

  • Familiarity with collaborative software such as Microsoft 365 and Google Drive
