Flamingo Estate is seeking a full-time Mid-Level Digital Designer with the ability to create pixel-perfect, visually compelling website designs and digital marketing materials. You’re a critical and creative thinker that believes a well-designed website can be both beautiful and intuitive to use. You will design best-in-class conversion-focused user interfaces and interior and marketing pages for Flamingo Estate.

In This Role You Will:

  • Maintain and update design systems and libraries in conjunction with the wider design team to ensure product-wide visual consistency.

  • Manage bandwidth and project timelines to execute UI design in time with your team’s roadmap

  • Design production of Flamingo Estate working from wireframes and assets created by our brand designers to produce any number of interior pages and UI updates

  • Design marketing emails and advertising communications

  • Quickly iterate and offer versions based on design critique from peers or from learnings found in user testing or feature response

  • Own the design on multiple projects at any given time

  • Execute final, intuitive, “pixel perfect” UI designs and prep for engineering hand-off

  • Maintain a keen eye for evolving best practices and emerging trends

  • Provide prototypes/deliverables to describe interactions and motion to enhance UI


About You:

  • 3+ years experience of web design experience

  • Top tier user interface and interaction design skills.

  • Prior Software UI/interaction design experiences at consumer-focused tech or media companies

  • Dedicated to how digital products “look” and “feel”

  • An obsession with typography, layout, color, and all things branded and interactive

  • Proficiency with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design and prototyping tools.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities on the fly

  • Experience working closely with engineers to develop and iterate interactive software experiences.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional critical thinking skills and a sharp eye for design, including documentation illustrating your thought process around a given project
