Seeks a Marketing Coordinator

Remote 10-20 hours/week

As the Marketing Coordinator, you'll be the engine behind our social presence, brand voice, and community experience. This role spans social media management, copywriting, customer support, and launch coordination. It requires someone who can hold the big picture while executing the details across multiple channels.

Details:

  • Position: Marketing Coordinator

  • Location: Remote

  • Type: Part-Time

  • Direct Report: Marketing Growth Lead

What You’ll Do:

📅 Social Strategy & Management:

  • Own and maintain the monthly content calendar, aligned with launch timelines and brainstorming calls.

  • Schedule and post content across Instagram and other platforms, including linkinbio, Manychat automations, and final approvals.

  • Write captions in ilovecreatives’ tone of voice, adapting between marketing and community support modes.

🫂 Community Engagement:

  • Monitor and respond to DMs and comments across Instagram and Discord daily.

  • Triage and prioritize customer support inquiries, escalating when needed.

  • Source UGC, student testimonials, and stories to feature across content channels.

✏️ Content Creation & Copywriting:

  • Collaborate with designers by writing content briefs and providing feedback.

  • Support launch campaigns with copy for social, email, and landing pages.

  • Curate and surface student stories for community features and editorial resources.

📊 Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and report on weekly KPIs (engagement rate, reach, saves, follows) every Monday.

  • Prepare insights for weekly social syncs, noting wins, trends, and opportunities.

  • Identify top-performing content and suggest ways to build on it.

🚀 Launch & Project Support

  • Coordinate cross-functionally during launches (scholarships, design programs, brand partnerships).

  • Manage increased DM and customer support volume during launch weeks.

  • Flag blockers, timeline gaps, and cross-team dependencies proactively.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic self-starter who can manage daily tasks and longer-horizon projects without hand-holding.

  • Strong writer with a natural feel for ilovecreatives’ voice: warm, knowledgeable, and never corporate.

  • Highly organized and proactive about communicating capacity, blockers, and timelines.

  • Digitally fluent with social platforms and comfortable learning new tools quickly.

  • Comfortable context-switching between creative work (captions, briefs, UGC) and operational tasks (DM triage, reporting, scheduling).

  • A big-picture thinker who notices when something’s off — a typo, a broken link, a missed asset — and flags it.

  • Collaborative and async-friendly; knows when to loop someone in.

  • You tend to be 4 or 5 on the Helpfulness Pyramid.

  • Must have strong internet and computer 📶 We are a fully remote team!

  • Growth mindset: you bring ideas to the table, take feedback well, and help improve the processes you touch. We ❤️ feedback and encourage you to let us know how we can improve. Good communication, time management, and collaboration skills 💬

  • Understanding of ilovecreatives mission and community. You love spreading the wealth of knowledge, no gatekeeping or exclusivity here.

  • Social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) & reporting tools

  • Notion for project and content management

  • Planoly or similar social scheduling tools

  • Meta Business Suite

  • Email platforms (Mailchimp)

Who this isn’t for:

Someone who needs a lot of structure and hand-holding to get started. Think of us as a collective of experienced creatives. Every quarter can look quite different depending on the company’s needs. If you’re not comfortable with ambiguity or making judgment calls without perfect information, this role will be a stretch. However, if you thrive on independence, love creative communities, and want to help shape the processes you’re part of, we would love to get to know you better!
