Seeks Freelance Graphic Designer / Art Director

Interlude seeks a skilled freelance graphic designer / art director for a short-term project to assist with the launch of our new and exciting business. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and work intensively over a 5-day period to create our initial brand assets and product designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create digital mock-ups for web layouts, including our e-commerce homepage and product pages

  • Develop and create visually appealing content for organic and paid social media, including Instagram posts, stories, and TikTok videos

  • Expand our product assortment by creating new designs and variations of our VOTE collection

  • Design email templates for CRM, including welcome series and promotional campaigns


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Graphic Designer or Art Director in the apparel or fashion industry.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and successful projects, particularly in apparel and branding.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.

  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design concepts clearly.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.

  • Civic-minded and socially conscious, with a passion for creating content that resonates with a diverse audience.


Start Date:

ASAP (could start as early as 9/1)


Term:

5 days to start, with potential for ongoing collaboration as our business grows.

Payment:

$30-35 per hour (Negotiable based on experience and quality of work)
