ABOUT THE POSITION:
Hey Graphic Designers!
We're recruiting for a beloved cosmetics brand in West LA.
If you are always in-tune with the latest beauty industry design trends, have a passion for luxe packaging, and a portfolio showcasing your bold + brave design style, WE WANNA KNOW YOU! 🙋🏾♀️
Our client sells across all platforms - retail, wholesale, e-commerce and you'll have your hands on everything working directly with the marketing team to produce digital and print assets with a heavy emphasis on the packaging.
YOU WILL:
• Conceptualize and develop innovative designs while staying true to the brand
• Create packaging designs that are cutting edge and keep the brand ahead of industry competitors
• Work alongside the marketing and product teams in the creation of global advertising campaigns, product launches
• Maintain a consistent design style that is cohesive across all marketing platforms and meets product development and purchasing objectives
• Assist the team in staying abreast of emerging industry trends, creative applications, and technologies.
• Create a visual style guide, including fonts and layouts for the brand's blog
• Retouch photos, as needed.
YOU HAVE:
• A portfolio showcasing beauty packaging work and you bold + beautiful design style
• Experience in visual merchandising and store planning in the beauty/cosmetics space
• An unquenchable thirst for staying on the cutting edge of current design trends
• Solid communication/presentations skills and a positive outlook
• Degree and/or hands-on experience in design or related fields, such as interiors, architecture or industrial design
