Kevin Barry Art Advisory is looking for an Art Advisor.

Art Advisors are relationship-focused and build long-lasting relationships with clients based on demonstrated ability to go above and beyond to get the job done. Within their KBAA creative team, a successful Art Advisor knows how to support their teammates, continually inspiring them to stretch their creative muscle in all projects while offering support and mentorship.
This position reports to the Art Director.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Project manage a large volume of team projects from concept to completion, including related logistics, installation and artist/vendor management – both international and domestic
Manage creative process to deliver a full art package proposal with thoughtful narrative
Build robust relationships with clients, setting expectations at the start of a project and leading client presentations
Provide internal sign-off of creative packages
Negotiate strategic pricing with vendors in order to achieve strong profit margins
Oversee quality control of samples, prototypes and finished products
Work closely with account managers to create and review purchase orders and invoices for accuracy
Cross-train junior members of the creative team to ensure consistent knowledge sharing amongst teammates
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
Creative eye with a passion for developing first-class art packages
Knowledge of interior design with a good sense of best practices
Awareness of and interest in ongoing design and market trends
Robust understanding of markups and profit margins
Strong project management skills
Extremely organized and efficient multitasker
Excellent communicator; cool under pressure
A people person with excellent interpersonal skills
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years’ work experience, preferably in interior design or creative industry; art a plus
Ability to succeed in a quick-moving and cross-functionally focused environment
Collaborative, team-oriented approach
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
Travel required as needed
