THE OPPORTUNITY

You will work closely with Founder and CEO Victoria Ashley to ideate and execute on marketing and e-commerce strategies in North America and beyond. This role is for a creative & analytical individual who has the ability to recognize the opportunities for growth within our e-commerce and marketing channels and implement the necessary steps to develop these initiatives. An interest and understanding of contemporary design is necessary for direction of this role.


As the MARKETING & ECOMMERCE MANAGER you are responsible for:

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Social media management, including copywriting and posting, responding to engagement

  • Evaluate and develop marketing strategy and plan

  • Support in the development and communication of brand and product messaging

  • Plan, implement, oversee marketing & advertising campaigns

  • Build a network of external agencies & marketing professionals

  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of competition

  • Pitch media for new product releases, founder features, etc

  • Maintain media relationships, gathers product requests for press gifting

  • Tracks media mentions

  • Copywriting and content production for product/art/design explorations


E-commerce Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer inquiries are dealt with in a timely & satisfying manner

  • Work with fulfillment center for customer & wholesale orders

  • Communicate inventory-related and other queries with the fulfillment center

  • Examine sales-related metrics to inform restocks

  • Support in creating strategies to encourage sales in online store

  • Support with inventory, product launches, sale launches

  • Copywriting and creation of product listings and other webpage related updates

  • Investigate and facilitate product issues and replacements

  • Creative edits to website to coincide with marketing efforts


As the MARKETING & ECOMMERCE MANAGER, you are..:

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years marketing experience, including brand marketing experience in a consumer product goods business. Experience with startups or cannabis industry considered an asset

  • Experience with copywriting for social media and email campaigns

  • Creative problem solver, ability to work collaboratively across functions

  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Proficiency with design programs (Figma, Photoshop, etc.), Marketing and E-commerce programs [Shopify/Instagram/Klaviyo/etc] considered an asset
