Remote - MUST RESIDE IN: GA, NC IL, MN, OH, PA, TX

ABOUT MINOR FIGURES

Since launching in 2014 with the creation of the first shelf-stable cold brew, Minor Figures has focused on creating innovative, plant-based products for a more delicious future.

Our signature Barista Oat range can be found on the bar at over 10,000 independent coffee shops around the world and our full lineup of products can be found in thousands of stores across 4 continents. Minor Figures has been B Corp Certified since 2022.

We have big plans for the future of MF. As we continue to grow at a rapid pace, we want to welcome curious, free-spirited, bold thinkers to help us continue to create and evolve. We value individuality and a team made up of people who bring a diverse range of experiences and perspectives to the table. If you share our love for the unexpected and you want every day you spend at work to be a chance to flex your creativity and test-drive your maddest ideas, we’d love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Mid Level Designer, you’ll dream up and deliver wildly creative work across print and digital, all in a pursuit of being the most loved brand on the planet. In this role, you’ll take on a diverse range of design projects that grow our brand awareness and community engagement.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As Mid Level Designer, we'd love to see your creative influence shine through daily.

Here's an overview of how you could make that happen:

  • Take on briefs from our North American marketing and sales teams in a timely and creative manner

  • Ideate and execute creative concepts for marketing campaigns which may include out of home advertising, social media content, e-comm, retail media, digital comms and printed collateral.

  • Collaborate with the creative leads to support the art direction on photography and videography for our products and campaigns.

  • Prepare and upload final press-ready files

  • Know package production; from event invites, vinyls, packaging, to sales collateral.

  • Contribute to regular brainstorming sessions with our Brand and Creative teams and maintain brand consistency throughout.

  • Keep your finger on the pulse within design, coffee, CPG, food & bev spaces and bring your learnings into everything we do at MF.

ABOUT YOUR TEAM

Within our North American Marketing team, you’ll report into our Director of Marketing, and will work in a small team of marketing and creative team members. We’re a small and fast-paced team who love working collaboratively and creatively to produce bold and weirdly wonderful work. We’re not interested in conforming to the “usual” way of doing things and instead we value bravery and uniqueness, in our quest to bring joy to everyone who comes across our brand.

You’ll also work closely with a motley crew of teammates located in the UK, who are celebrated for their individuality in a work culture that encourages you to be optimistic, experimental and daring. Minor Figures is filled to the brim with creative thinkers who are truly passionate about our brand, so the Creative team is a powerful epicenter of that energy!

ABOUT YOU

We'd love to chat with people who have 2-5 years relevant experience, working within an in-house team or agency environment, and have a strong portfolio of work demonstrating sound creative judgement and an ability to work across different disciplines and formats.

Your experience will range from quickly turning around small assets to working on larger scale marketing projects & events. You have a keen eye for detail and execute work to an excellent level. You are fluent in creating both printed and digital assets and understand the nuances of these two worlds. You will be used to working in a tight-knit, fast-paced team – able to pivot between different projects and manage your time accordingly.

Ideally, you will have experience with animation and 3D although this is not a deal-breaker.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in finding new ways to solve visual problems, excited to collaborate and contribute ideas whilst seeing the value of feedback on their work from teammates. This is best summed up as having confidence in your work but being flexible when working with others to reach an outcome that completely hits the mark.

We'd love your application to show us you're a great communicator with a can-do attitude — someone who loves being part of a team and doesn't shy away from things outside their comfort zone.

Finally, you’ll have exceptional knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop). Skills in Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Blender would also be beneficial.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

As part of the MF team, not only will you have the opportunity to own your role and make it a success, you’ll also be becoming part of something very special.

As part of the Minor Figures team, you’ll have the opportunity to invest in the business, with the option to buy shares in the company at an agreed price. Having skin in the game and really contributing to our success. Because it’s all of us that make this happen.

But of course, we look after you in the other ways that you’d expect:

  • Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance plans

  • 15 days vacation, 14 days paid holiday

  • Employee share options scheme, available to all full time employees.

  • 1 day paid leave to support a cause of your choice through volunteering or activism

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match

  • Paid Parental leave policy

  • Flexible working to meet the needs of the role

  • Access to the Calm app

  • Flexible CoWorking Spaces across the US
