Tamborine Press

Seeks a Ecommerce web designer

Anywhere

Hello! I’m Sarah — illustrator, designer, and the creative behind Tamborine Press, a studio rooted deeply in the wedding world. My bespoke invitations have truly taken off, and as I expand, I’m looking for a brilliant ecommerce-minded web designer/developer to collaborate with me on a technical + creative build for launch in 2026.

The Vision

I’m gently pivoting into a more product-based model with a curated ecommerce catalogue of semi-custom invitation designs.

I’m dreaming of a website experience that feels guided, luxe and playful — where couples can:

  • Enter their own invitation wording

  • Adjust colourways

  • Choose envelope colours + liners

  • Watch their design come to life interactively

  • Purchase instantly

  • Not a full DIY template engine, and not a basic add-to-cart — but an elevated, art-driven customisation experience that still feels bespoke.

What I’m Looking For

  • A designer/developer who can merge technical magic with creative vision — someone who gets how to build:

  • A seamless ecommerce site

  • An interactive customisation flow for invitations

  • A unique, illustrated, art-forward homepage (think motion, playful interactions)

  • Product pages for both interactive and non-interactive paper goods

  • A high-end portfolio space for bespoke work

  • Branding is strong and largely complete; I have all illustrations, assets, and design elements ready to go.

Timeline: Build throughout 2026

Launch: Anywhere between July to Dec 2026
