Background:

The Center for Better Relating Inc seeks to remake modern dating; its flagship offering is, ‘the feels’ an IRL singles event that creates a safe and immersive environment for ppl to connect in depth. At present, ‘the feels’ has installments in NYC, LA + SF. We also offer online education, weekly content, and a matchmaking program under ‘the feels’ brand.

At an inflection point, the CBR seeks to spread its core message - that better relating is possible. To that, we’re seeking a designer to join ‘the feels’ roster on an ongoing basis to support rolling design needs. You’ll collaborate with our team to bring creative ideas to life across organic and paid social, promo graphics, website + more. We seek to work with someone who has a clear design perspective, who will bring their own point of view, and isn’t afraid to play, experiment, and stretch what ‘the feels’ can look and feel like. We want to create with you.

Duties:

  • Participate in monthly and quarterly team meetings focused on marketing + branding strategy;

  • Work 1:1 with social + partnerships managers to navigate the business’ design needs;

  • Translate needs to high quality design assets;

  • Produce an array of assets on an ongoing basis;

  • Ensure assets are sent in a timely manner.


Please come with:

  • 2-5 years experience;

  • 5 - 10 hours a week of availability;

  • 2-3 references who can speak to results + expertise + engagement;

  • A design POV

  • The ability to turnaround materials within 24 hours on a consistent basis;

  • An interest in better relating / spirituality / intentional dating.

If we are, then the next ask will be to present us with up to 3 assets (social posts, ads, website landing page) with your interpretation of “The Feels” style - use your creativity and imagination here! Don’t feel married to what “The Feels” presents already, instead, use this as a jumping off point. We will compensate you for up to 2 hours of your time for this work, at $30 per hour.

Hours + Compensation:

Est. hrs. per week = 5 - 10

Compensation: $35 - $50/hr., based on experience
