is looking for a Jr-mid-level Digital Designer

Willa Creative is looking for a well-rounded, forward-thinking, digital designer to bring a fresh perspective to creative website projects at Willa. This role will support our lead designer and help conceptualize and design digital product experiences from the ground up. You will work with a wide range of clients to deliver best-in-class creative and websites. This is a critical role within our design team responsible for helping push user experience forward across all digital touch points. With culture being at the forefront of Willa ethos, this person should be personable, passionate, collaborative and have strong creative energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the creative team to conceptualize and design clients digital web products

  • Bringing visual art direction ideas that benefit the sites UI and interactive design

  • Ability to create hi-def visual-forward prototypes to present to clients

  • Comfortable being hands-on in the entire design process from concept to production

  • Being comfortable being client facing and lead design round calls as needed

  • Ability to work with autonomy, as well as take direction and collaborate with a larger team

  • Ability to spearhead any/all motion graphics developed by the studio

  • Work as a strong team member who values collaboration and positive attitude

  • Contribute to brainstorms across all verticals of the Company (strategy, content and design)

  • Being consistently curious around the evolution of design, pushing the status quo, staying on top of trends, and implementing it through their daily work

  • Build efficient time management skills to consistently deliver high quality work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 2-3+ years work experience in graphic design; branding and/or motion design experience a plus

  • 2-3+ years work experience in design. (web, branding, motion)

  • Knowledge using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects, C4D and/or other 3D programs, Video Editing

  • Passion for e-commerce and digital product design

  • Ability and openness to doing 1-2 days a week in the office for team work sessions

  • Interest in web 3.0 and spatial design for VR and AR is a PLUS

  • Shopify and Wordpress knowledge a plus

Experience:

Candidates should have experience in generating user-flows via Figma, wireframes, build prototypes and design a website from start to finish including responsive. Candidates should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere etc) as well Figma for website design. Skills in Cinema4D, Blender and/or other 3D programs are a plus, as candidates with motion design and/or 3D capabilities are preferred.
