Taking the Graphic Design Course helped me sharpen my design skills and learn all the necessary skills to become a graphic designer. The course was super comprehensive and covered topics in a clear, organized sequence that was easy to understand. I started from having absolutely no clue how to tackle a graphic design project, to having my portfolio website up and running — with projects I worked on!

The course helped me find my own voice when choosing projects and helped me figure out my favorite parts of the design process and the kinds of projects I enjoyed working on the most.

My favorite thing about the course is how we learned all the essential skills up front (i.e. Figma, Photoshop etc). and had the rest of the time to work on projects. Really liked seeing everyone's work on Discord too. Mindy and Sarah were so helpful.

My advice for anyone taking the course is plan accordingly!!! Always give yourself more time than you think you need to complete the assignments.
