My favorite part of the course was the language and the way Puno chose to present all the information. Everything was always very clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I really connected with her and with the way they chose to communicate throughout the course.
Read MoreI took the Graphic Design Course because the graphic design program at my university was underfunded, and I felt stagnant in opportunities and like I hit a roadblock with learning. I thought participating in the Graphic Design Course would allow me to experience design beyond education and the workplace. I also think it was a good way for me to take control of my design journey.
Read MoreOne good thing that’s come out of the course for me is learning not just graphic design but creating a portfolio and understanding the business and finance side. It literally is everything you need in a course!

Read MoreI took the Graphic Design Course because as a very recent post grad that graduated with a BFA in Illustration and is still preparing her illustration portfolio, I decided to pivot to design or at least expand my scope to design. I wanted to continue my education and learn something a bit more practical.
I would say go for it to anyone thinking about taking the course. As a starting point in my design journey, it was very helpful.
I loved getting feedback from Sarah and Mindy! It felt great to get feedback from experienced professionals who do this work for a living. Their comments and suggestions went a long way. Taking the course without them just would have left me feeling uncertain of if what I was making would actually survive in the "real design world."
Read MoreI can see the uplift in my designing immediately after completing the modules and becoming more familiar with the tools. My colleagues have noticed too!

Read MoreMy favorite thing about the course was the tone. It really felt like I was learning a lot but in such a playful way. That made it so easy to absorb the material and want to jump into the videos / homework after doing a 8 hours at a day job.
Read MoreMy favorite thing about the course is the hands on approach that allows me to learn by creating and experimenting. If you're thinking about taking the course, I would say go for it. Stay committed, practice often, and don't compare yourself to others. Growth comes from showing up and applying what you learn.
Read MoreThe Graphic Design Course felt like an all-in-one wonderland: an online community and cohort of fellow students, a truly robust curriculum, and so many resources on how to revamp my entire process. The recruiter call and portfolio review process has been everything! Knowing what to share in a portfolio, what details recruiters are looking for, and how to better tell the story of each project in an efficient and engaging way is so instrumental. I now have a portfolio I'm proud of and a clearer idea of how to position myself when sharing my work.

Always think of the positives and don’t let anything drag you down from pursuing the very best version of yourself. Most of all, enjoy the course and be your true creative self!
Read MoreI learned a lot about myself by the end of Section 2 (Design Process); the assignments taught me a lot about designing with intention, and through trial & error and a lot of practice, I actually learned a lot about how I can make the process easier and smoother for myself the next time around!
Read MoreThe resources and exercises are really current and use inspiring examples - this was particularly helpful for my personal project work, as I felt able to get my ideas to a 'launch-ready' state myself. The monthly live calls and discord support is really good and very responsive when people have questions - I learn a lot from simply reading the feedback given to other students on their work.

The instructors are great at helping you tidy your projects to get them in a portfolio worthy place.I already landed a freelance project with a pretty cool brand because I reached out and shared the portfolio I made in this course.
Read MoreAs a self-initiated course, the experience is what you make of it! Submit things even if you know it could be better, let someone know you like their work, hit the co-working chat. I was able to get an interview at Adobe with the help of a community member and landed a full time job. Lots of a good things have happened since taking the course and I owe it to all the supportive creatives I've met here.
Read MoreI'm so so grateful for how the program was able to connect my work as a junior designer to the feedback and eyes of industry designers! Not only was GDCCP a really encouraging safe space to meet other creatives starting out like me, but the portfolio I created from the program landed me a lot of new and exciting opportunities such as two brand design internships in Berlin and getting my work in front of design teams at Google.
Read MoreI took the Graphic Design Course first. It completely unstuck me. Like, mentally. Creatively. Existentially. I started letting go of the "right way" and leaned hard into the weird side of my design brain. Then I took the Squarespace Design Course because I was already deep in it and figured, why stop now? It made sense — I’d just built a whole brand in the GDC, and now I needed somewhere to actually put it. The two courses were a match made in heaven.
