I took the Photography Course since I wanted to go further in my photography and treat it more seriously. The part of the course that I've learned a lot about myself was coming up with my creative pillars as well as when I got to go out and shoot. My creative pillars allowed me to really think about what I enjoy and how I would evoke that in my work. Shooting allowed me to understand how to communicate with the model and how I should improve on that.

My favorite thing about the course was Kanya's advice. Not only did she give professional advice but she gave personal anecdotes and showed templates for her work which made it easier to envision.

My advice for someone thinking about taking the course: Take your time especially when it comes to the creative pillars, treatment deck and shooting. It seems easy to rush it with all of the material given but it is okay to take breaks.
