WHAT DO YOU DO?
“I run a remote branding agency that helps small business babes build and grow profitable brands through strategy, design & non-fluff coaching.”
When I'm not doing all those babe'n things you can find me traveling the world with my little boy (or as an even more fab Fro than me - how good!).
WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I did the typical Design Degree majoring in Graphic Design and Animation at Unitec in New Zealand but never ACTUALLY worked in the industry untill 6 years later when I started my business. I built Brand Babes Studio with the sole goal to create a strong brand that would sell itself providing me with remote income so I can go live in Bali. And that's what I did. Now I teach small business babes how to design their own life and build the business that supports that.
How do you stand out in your field?
I understand the makeup of what a great brand needs and I do just that. Most of our clients will say "They just get it!." It's kinda that simple.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
So many things, all the things #slashielife. But mainly adding digital products that will help our community create businesses that work for them. We just launched a killer eBook - "Your Step-by-step guide to working remotely in Bali".
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?

Creating content! I launched a podcast this year called Babe Chats where we interview Australian and New Zealand Small Biz Babes to unpack what success looks like and how they use the power of branding to achieve that. I realized how much I love creating content (and the sound of my own voice).
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
Working on the business - like putting digital products out to interwebs! We put our clients first as you should, but finding that balance to work on internal projects can be tricky!

Finding common themes from my braindumped ideas (goodluck to that guy!).
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
Design your life first! It's so easy to fall into this trap of this is what I should be doing rather than this is what I want to do wholeheartedly. Always do the thing that scares you. And also you got this girl!

Marketing digital products and automating sales funnels without complicating things (ya feel me?)

Working with like-minded babes is key (we work with man-babes too!). People who understand the importance of great branding but want an expert (that's me - Hi!) to do it for them.
