Q What do you do?
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
Looking back it’s been crazy!!! I used to work for a creative agency that specialized in CPG branding and I had to learn the ins and outs of design, photography, videography and producing. I took every opportunity and made sure every time someone gave me an opportunity that I did my absolute best. I studied and belt up the confidence to reach out to bigger brands and stayed consistent.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I said yes to every opportunity that was presented my way. People trusted me with their projects and budgets and I wanted to make sure I could learn through every project.
Q What are you working on right now?
I have relationships with some amazing agencies and at the moment that’s been the reason I've been occupied. However, I'm working on building a production studio and looking to obtain relationships with some new agencies and companies.
Q What’s your style?
My style has range because whether I'm doing portraits or product photography I adapt to what is requested. However, I love harsh shadows!!!
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
What I wanna focus more on is either producing or art directing. I have so many ideas for brands and I know how to put my ideas together to better communicate a vision but I haven't done it all too much.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
I can't be all that frustrated, My life has been a blessing. I would love the opportunity to shoot celebrity portraits and shoot bigger lifestyle campaigns. I know I can do it and I'm just hoping I come across the right person who can provide that opportunity.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
I would have them write proposals, update my website, send out emails, and provide a test project once a week. I think all of that is essential in building the next person who can eventually go out in the world and grow for themselves.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
Don't freak out I'm from the future... Hahaha I would tell my younger self to take everything day by day and don't burn yourself out. I think once I understood that I felt more relaxed and less anxious.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I wanna know how to slowly transition from being a photographer to having people looking at me as a producer / art director.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I'm looking for more opportunities in working with celebrities, working in health and wellness and shooting more CPG brands
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
Ideally, I would love to work with Nike or a tequila brand on a campaign that would be showcased on a billboard somewhere on sunset blvd. I love working with brands that just love bouncing ideas back and forth.
Q: What is your rate?
I'm open to working with startups however I usually get projects that range from $2500 and up. Don't hesitate to reach out regardless of what your budget is, I wanna help as much as possible.
Q How should someone approach you about working together?
Please feel free to email me and ask me anything. I'll figure out how to help in any creative way.
