Q What do you do?

I’m a self-proclaimed master of designing brand foundations and strategy for women in luxury industries. I’m not only offering stunning brand design. Once our clients are branded to perfection from head to toe, I offer them several different services like website development, marketing strategy, coaching, and social media management.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

We find ourselves constantly ripping the corporate masks off our collaborators, revealing so much truth and enlightenment into their industry that they didn’t see before. I stopped talking and started listening to what my clients needed. I fill the gaps in the way my team processes projects from beginning to end. We do so much discovery during the target audience strategy that everything else just seems to find itself in perfect alignment. Instead of the project continuing to meet roadblocks due to lack of direction and research, we’re part of a body of moving parts that all, eventually, fit perfectly together. Not only are we putting pieces of the puzzle together, we made the puzzle from scratch ourselves. Learning how to perfect my artistic and thorough approach was the turning point to us getting where we are today.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

For The Bear, it was a lot of soul searching to figure out where we wanted to sit within a packed industry of talent and creativity. Clinging to our roots of authenticity, strength, boldness, and a lil quirkiness, we reflect that in everything we do. From blog posts, to emails, social media, and beyond. I find those that are attracted to our brand are needing warm hugs, honesty, and major change. & I’m here for all of that, especially the warm hugs. We’re molding industry leaders. These women come to us wearing their best fake smile, and as we walk through the journey with them, that smile literally becomes authentic. It becomes actual reality for them. They aren’t alone. They don’t need to fake it with us. We’ll master their brand roots and accelerate their brand to the top where it absolutely belongs.

Q What are you working on right now?

Glad you asked! I’m a little camera shy, I guess I freak out and forget who I am when the camera is pointing my direction. It took a lot of guts and cuts but - we just launched a free six lesson course called, The Million Dollar Brand Playbook. It’s a self-paced course that shares tips and tricks on how to scale your brand to that next level. It’s been so fun to put together and we really hope it helps small business owners everywhere!

Q What’s your style?

As far as style goes, my brands each reflect a timeless, authority demanding, dramatic, and expensive design. However different and versatile my projects are, they all are meant to attract high spenders. We have an entire lookbook that reflects many different brands we’ve built over the years for you to admire. (YASSS HUNNY)

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

Interior Designers, where are you and why aren’t we working together?

Q What is frustrating you right now?

The build a website-in-a-day trend. It’s awful. Stop building websites in one day. We can tell. We can all tell they were built in a day. I wish we could get back to good, solid design principles. Not boring, don’t get me wrong. I love the creativity we’re all spilling from each pixel, but if the website isn’t converting into sales, it’s not worth the time and money the business owner spent. That frustrates me.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Do you have any idea how chaotic it gets in the Dropbox for a creative agency? Wild. I’d hire someone to rename and sort our files for us. That’d be SO great.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

Starve your doubt and feed your dreams. So many of our first years in business were spent in limbo. Not realizing the impact I was able to make because of the imposter syndrome that kept me limited and held back. I wish I'd have done more at recognizing it so that we would have seen quicker results.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

Press relations. I could see that being something we’d want to get involved in, in the future. It kind of goes with everything else we offer to our clients, don’t you think?

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

I have a WHOLE wish list of projects I’d love to tackle. However, one of our MOST sought after project types are male-dominated industries with WOMEN in charge. If you are one of those women, we’d love to serve you in your brand building journey. OH, the things we could do.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Brittany owns a mechanic shop. She could literally walk circles around most men in her industry. She has a huge shop that could use just a little…shaping.

TO THE SALON: It’s The Bear. The Bear IS the salon and Brittany sits down in our chair and we begin to give her brand the glow-up it deserves. She would need brand design, strategy, a marketing plan, brand tone and voice, and a stellar website that attracts her local target audience.

Q: What is your rate?

I’m a big fan and believer in transparency. We aren’t shy about our pricing. Pricing is reflected on our website, easy for you to access and make your decision before even booking a consultation.

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

Oh, it’s super easy! We offer free 30-minute consultations! All you have to do is click the consultation button on our website and it’ll take you straight to a form and you’ll book your meeting with us!
