Carson Ines Olivares
Content Creator / Brand Strategist / Founder of Inesitta Studios
Los Angeles, CA
Q What do you do?
I’ve worked with brands and publications like Who What Wear, PAIGE, and most recently was on the founding team for a DTC vitamin startup, Perelel. I’ve been fortunate to be able to touch every aspect of content and brand marketing—from social media, content creation and copywriting to content production, brand strategy and campaign execution.
I love bringing brands to life through impactful content, thoughtful messaging and memorable experiences.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I got my start in the features department at Marie Claire and the rest is history. I spent the first part of my career working in editorial at Clique (Who What Wear, Byrdie Beauty and MyDomaine), SHAPE Magazine and Parents Magazine. And then moved to the brand side of things heading up all things content, social and influencer at PAIGE and eventually helping launch Perelel, which has now been featured in Forbes, Glossy and Vogue.
I also love all things art and design and launched my own jewelry line and creative studio, Inesitta, in between.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I'm going to quote my previous boss, mentor and dear friend here, who described me as a “Swiss army knife.” Meaning, I have a Rolodex of skills that I think have helped me understand the ins and outs of what I do and be able to bring a concept to life.
Q What are you working on right now?
Currently right this moment: Wrapping up a product launch that we brought to life with a multi-tiered video campaign with both produced and TikTok native assets. I’m also scripting the final episode of season two of our podcast and finessing summer messaging.
Q What’s your style?
I’m particularly proud of Perelel's Unclean15 campaign. We created a label check tool where you can copy and paste a product’s ingredient list to find out if it’s safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding. We launched the tool with an educational video, hosted a Clean Café influencer event and even created a newspaper—a dream come true for my journalist heart—complete with lifestyle content, a recipe from What’s Gaby Cooking and a letter from the editor from influencer Geri Hirsch. I love that the campaign was content-forward, innovative and had both digital and IRL extensions.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
Content creation + design. Both are like meditative practices for me.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
Distract my baby pug puppy for an afternoon and we’re good!
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
This! I was working three jobs after graduating college as a freelance writer and reporter. At the time, I was so scared that my career working in editorial would be fleeting because it's such a competitive idustry. I’m so thankful for it, but if I could go back in time I would tell myself to relax, trust myself more and enjoy the ride.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I think there’s so much value in learning new things in fields unrelated to your 9-to-5. I’m personally into all things home and interiors right now, especially as it relates to sustainability. Any expert in that world would be my favorite dinner guest and I’d love to pick their brain.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I’m open to all things content, brand + social but especially love working with clients in the art and design, interiors or home space, which is my personal passion.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
There’s no better feeling than great creative collaboration. I’ve made lifelong friendships through my work relationships and always value those who inspire, dream big, and have some fun along the way.
