WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
Many sleepless nights. I started out coding in WP and then stumbled upon this beauuuuuutifull website built with SquareSpace. I instantly became a dedicated fan. I dabbled at first with my own site and then this year, decided to make it my business. I'm, as far as I know, the only one in Denmark, exclusively designing in SquaresSpace.
FOR OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR FIELD, WHAT DO THEY USUALLY LACK?
I see a lot of unbalanced designs out there. My mission is to build beautiful things that work.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
Building a commerce site · thinking of new ways to promote SquareSpace in Denmark · getting dirty with email marketing.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
Mixing analog with digital. Hand drawn with the polished. Keeping up aesthetics and balance in every one of my creations – whatever the media might be.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
More time illustrating. Good work needs love and attention. Love and attention takes time.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
There is tons to do to 'get out there'. And I am still just scratching the surface. Finding the right clients, is a tuff cookie. People still haven't seen the light here in Denmark, when it comes down to SquareSpace versus Wordpress... And WP is almost a tradition. I am trying to break that chain. SquareSpace is the future!

Back in 2001, I would have encouraged myself to be much bolder.

I'd love to see how other web-designers go about their day and get insight on their workflow. I'm a big fan of efficiency – why not work smarter?
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
My heart sings, when I get to design a new SquaresSpace site for a client. Create every visual content + logo. And I like to take the design further, so it's ready to be implemented on print too. Always thinking two steps forward.

I love working with other creatives because they also seek out new territories. Bold designs doesn't scare them.
WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE, RETAINER, OR SALARY RANGE?
My hourly rate is 100$. A website project starts from 2,215$ and is packed with customized graphics.
