Q What do you do?
“I’m a designer with experience in branding, advertising, illustration, animation, and even woodworking.”

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I graduated from college with a degree in supply chain management (lol), but quickly realized half way through college I wasn't cut out for a job in a non-creative field. I taught myself graphic design and even landed myself a design internship for a record pressing company in college. I knew I wanted agency experience, so I worked at a digital advertising agency for 3 years. There, I was able to refine my animation and illustration skills while creating a variety of digital assets. Most recently, I worked in house at the startup, STUDS. Now, I'm full-time freelance and available for hire.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I can do it all. I am a skilled illustrator, designer, art director, and animator. I'm also fun to work with. No designer ego here.
Q What are you working on right now?
Right now, I'm a full-time freelancer looking for more work and expanding my lists of clients. When I'm not on my computer, I'm currently making cowboy boot mirrors.
Q What’s your style?
One of my clients said my portfolio looks like candy that she wants to eat off the screen. Not sure totally what that means, but I like to run with that perspective.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I love branding projects. I'm wrapping up a big one, and would love to work on more.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
I want to keep finding clients that I love working with and we have similar visions.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
To keep the base boards of my house not dusty!
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
You can start making a career out of your artistic abilities sooner!
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
3d design and animation. I'm learning, but I would love to learn more
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
Illustration, branding, flyers, email marketing, social media. Anything really.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
A client where we both work together to make a product both of us are excited about.
