Grace Lynn
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I started my career in B2B tech marketing zig zagging from organic social to campaign management. I then joined an agency I had always dreamed of working at - Red Antler - and helped build out their growth marketing arm: Good Moose. I led our largest clients, one of Sephora's best sellers, growing from $3M a year to $30M via a mix of performance and brand marketing.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I've been lucky enough to find myself at the intersection of brand marketing and performance marketing, learning how to meld the two to drive both holistic awareness and revenue for the brand in a creative, memorable, and effective manner.
Q What are you working on right now?
Right now, I'm working on a mix of apparel, beauty, and jewelry brands helping to scale their revenue - whether they're making $30M a month or $30K a month
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I would love to get more into the weeds on creative direction and brand marketing. With a strong performance based lens, I think continuing to hone those skills will make me an even stronger marketer.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Organizing my personal drive - I work quickly so sometimes I just need to save down a file but I want to have a more organized version of it!
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
Clean data for me to analyze!
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
I wish I could have told myself to be more confident in what I have to offer, and that the rest will follow.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I would love to learn more about semiotics - the study of human patterns and how it relates consumer behavior.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
Right now, I'm seeking out digital marketing contract roles between 5-10 hours per week. I can help analyze e-commerce performance, manage paid media, analyze and dissect creative, and help with conversion rate optimization.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
Ideally, I'm looking for someone with clear business goals and KPIs that I can help support via digital marketing efforts and reporting. I can craft related digital marketing KPIs, but having a clear understanding of where you want to bring your business if going to help me the most!
Q: What is your rate?
Looking for projects in the 5-10 hour/week rage for $80-$100/hour.
Q Who is a creative you admire?
Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?
I like to stay up to date with the latest and greatest via outside resources, as well as ensure that I'm continuing to adventure internationally to expand my bubble :)
