Q What do you do?
“I craft immersive brand worlds and strategic websites for good humans doing good things. As a brand and web designer + developer specialising in Squarespace and Shopify, I transform bold, visionary ideas into tangible on and offline experiences that embody your values, connect deeply with your people, and catalyse real change.”
My mission? To partner with the dreamers and doers who believe business can be a force for good. Because here's what I know: when purpose meets beauty, when intention guides design, when we let curiosity lead the way - that's when magic happens. That's when we create something that resonates, that lasts, that matters.
Whether you're launching your vision from scratch or ready to elevate your existing brand, I'll help translate your lived experience into an authentic brand ecosystem (IRL & URL) that attracts the right people and supports the business and life you actually want.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
With a background in photography, yoga teaching and non-profit work, I’m an obsessive devotee to finding beauty in the everyday, leading with curiosity and approaching all things with creativity and play.
My endless curiosity ensures that I never stop learning, innovating or creating. From a degree in International Development to a certificate in TV & Film and over 1,000 hours of yoga and movement training, my work is informed by a vast array of influences, inspirations and cultures. But what’s always at the heart is a desire to shape our collective future through connection.
For me, design has been a vehicle for self-expression since I first opened Photoshop in the early 2000’s. The love affair grew as I started my Myspace page and spent hours and hours tweaking the HTML on our family computer (remember those days?), amazed at how a few lines of code could build something beautiful and help me express my personality.
My work as a photographer continued this exploration, helping me understand how visual storytelling can change perspectives, open new worlds and start conversations. That fascination led me to dive deeper, eventually discovering that brand creation and web design was this perfect sweet spot where my analytical brain and creative heart could play together.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
My superpower is an endless curiosity. I ask the questions others don't, creating space for you to discover what truly matters in your business and brand. This collaborative excavation process means we build brands from lived experience rather than templates—resulting in work that couldn't belong to anyone else.
Having lived across six continents and worked in multiple creative disciplines—from photography to documentary filmmaking to guiding movement practices—I bring a uniquely global perspective and cross-disciplinary approach to every project. These experiences have taught me to see the world through different lenses and to find inspiration in the everyday.
I'm equally at home in strategic thinking and creative exploration, approaching each project with boundless curiosity while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. My process honors your natural rhythms and boundaries, creating not just beautiful assets but a regenerative foundation that supports the business and life you actually want to live.
When you work with me, you're getting more than a designer—you're getting a thinking partner, a creative collaborator, and someone who genuinely believes in your vision and its power to create meaningful change.
Q What are you working on right now?
A wide range of projects across industries and platforms - I’m the luckiest! Currently, it looks like a herbalist building her distinctly grounded yet cosmic apothecary, an athletic wear brand built on the concept of the conversations we have with ourselves and a non-profit that works with asylum seekers to reclaim their connection to the sea through surfing, swimming and other water based activities.
Q What’s your style?
My style is finding your style, but I tend towards more minimalistic, type driven, grid layouts for that editorial feel. Personally, I am drawn towards calming, quiet and natural spaces and this is reflected in personal projects. That being said, I love to explore different design styles that push me out of my comfort zone!
My biggest inspirations come from interior design and the natural world. I’d say that my personal brand is the most reflective of the style I tend to gravitate towards - clean, minimalistic but with a touch of personality through type and hand drawn elements (love a bit woo). A project that pushed me out of my personal style was Lucy on Earth (https://haleywithers.com/work/lucyonearth), but it has become one of my most favourite projects to date!
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I’d love to work more with clients who are bringing physical spaces to life, particularly cafes, restaurants and community spaces or studios. While not an interior designer by trade, I love imagining how physical spaces interact with our human experience. I think it would be so much fun to explore how a brand can really come to life across all touchpoints - furniture, layouts, wayfinding, ephemera - as well as in the digital sphere.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Prioritising marketing within my business strategy! There are so many things I could be doing, but client work always takes priority. I also find it difficult to see my own business clearly as I am so close to it (founders, you understand).
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
I would hire someone to manage my marketing!
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
That I can’t think or learn my way to clarity! The only path to knowing what works is through curiosity, through exploration, through the sacred practice of f*cking around and finding out. And when I inevitably outgrow your first attempts? That's not failure - it's evidence of my evolution.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
Something totally out of the design space, but I’d speak to someone about regenerative agriculture! It’s my biggest obsession at the moment, and I believe it has so many lessons to offer that span across all facets of life.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I’d love to work on more end-to-end projects, collaborating with visionary founders to bring their ideas to life through branding, packaging and web design. Currently, I am keen on working with product and place based businesses to create immersive brand worlds both online and offline.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
Founders who value collaboration over transaction and want to work with a partner who asks the right questions, translates lived experience into visual language, and ensures their brand becomes the foundation for the freedom they crave.
Q: What is your rate?
Branding packages start at £2,500, Squarespace websites start at £3,000 and Shopify websites start at £5,500. These packages are just a starting line—once we’ve had a chat, I’ll send you a personalised proposal. To see the full details, download my offerings guide (https://haleywithers.myflodesk.com/offerings-guide)!

Q Who is a creative you admire?
Tess Guinery is one of my biggest inspirations! She lives and breathes creativity from writing to photography and design. I’d start with her substack and Instagram @tessguinery and let the inspiration flow.
Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?
I get outside! You can probably find me surfing or taking my dog for a big stomp in the hills.
