I work with companies to create unique visual content. I style, art direct and shoot product, lifestyle + editorial photography to help brands tell their story.
WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
Practice + perseverance (lots of both)!
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I'm working with a lot of female entrepreneurs, which I love. Helping other women get their dreams off the ground is really exciting and I love being able to create content that helps their brand be successful.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
My style is constantly evolving but always simple, clean and bright. I'm so inspired by the colors + simple lifestyle of the West Coast and that is always represented in my work.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
I really love graphic design and I'm working towards blending this skill into my portfolio more by creating look books for clients.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
Sometimes it's difficult to find the time to network and connect with new people and brands. I love being surrounded by other creative people so I’m always trying to find the time in my schedule to make sure i’m meeting up with fellow creatives in my city.
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HOUR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
Photo assistant! I usually work alone when shooting, but having an extra hand would definitely be a help.
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
Way back when I was deciding what college to attend, I decided against art school and went ahead to pursue a B.A. in Sociology. I love what I studied, but my passion is being creative and I wish I had studied photography or design instead… but hey, self teaching works great too!
IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
I would love to shadow more photographers and see how they work… I tend to use as much natural light as possible, but maybe if I could sit at the feet of someone like Annie Leibovitz I could learn more about the art of portrait lighting.
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
Product, lifestyle, and editorial photography projects.
WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL CLIENT?
Brands big + small looking for some fresh visual content. Working with female entrepreneurs has been really inspiring and I definitely want to continue doing more of that. I also would love to team up with some bloggers here in San Francisco to photograph more projects and spaces.

HOW SHOULD SOMEONE APPROACH YOU ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER?
Preferably clients come knocking on my door a with bottle of a wine or we chat over coffee - but shooting me an email works as well :)

Turn off my computer and get outside!
