Q What do you do?

I create strategic, simple, yet significant website designs for creative entrepreneurs.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I went from being a lawyer to a customer service agent and made my way to director. That period of my life meant SO much growth, but however grateful and in love with the job I was, a global pandemic hit, along with some serious burnout.

Working for someone else no longer aligned with my life goals and dreams. So I “made a wish, took a chance, made a change, and broke away” — cheesy but true. There’s never a perfect time, but I had unbelievable support to go after what I’ve always loved doing… designing!

So here I am! Countless research, reading, practicing, and some amazing courses later, I took the leap to the freelance web design world.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I design websites that are simple to understand and enjoyable to navigate — without the online overwhelm and confusion — through a straightforward process.

Q What are you working on right now?

I'm taking on new clients — and learning. I'm always investing in different courses (of course one of them is from ilovecreatives!) to improve my design, marketing & management skills. Although my previous work experience in managing large teams and projects really helped me prepare a high-end customer experience for my clients, I'm always learning and improving my processes and skills.

Q What’s your style?

I love modern, minimal designs, with a significant simplicity — not only on web design, but on packaging, interior design, etc. I also love black and white, retro edits and polaroid frames.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I plan on focusing on development, coding in the near future.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

I would love to have some more time to focus on a complete marketing strategy to build a steady flow of clients.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Plan my lead generation strategy.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

"Trust the timing of your life." It's okay to try new things, to not follow that expected path of go-to-college-and-stay-in-that-same-job-forever. The cliche "follow your heart" is so true... Do what you want to do. There's only one life — live it the way YOU want to.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

Steady lead generation.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

I'd love to design as many websites as I can. :) I have so much fun doing it — also love seeing other entrepreneurs succeed!

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Creative entrepreneurs that want their clients to enjoy visiting their websites, that value significant simplicity: for everything has a reason of being.

Q: What is your rate?

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

“Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me” — Kim Possible.

Contact me via my website, or DM me because I’m a millennial and we hate phone calls 😮‍💨 jk hahaha

Q Who is a creative you admire?

I love Pangram Pangram, High Moon Studio, By Rosanna, Chanel and Lee, One6Creative, Leche Studio, The Christine Mo, Elliot is a Cool Guy, and ilovecreatives (duhhh!). Typography focused, clean and simple designs — while still unique and fun.

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?

Dog pictures, TV shows, travels, pizza, and building my dream house on The Sims (2!!!) and dwelling over #vanlife.
