Q What do you do?
“I am a web designer and front-end developer who can code custom websites from scratch.”
I am also a UX designer, who can translate layout, mockup, and wireframe websites and mobile applications into actual products.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I started by enrolling in a full-stack development bootcamp, which taught me front-end or user facing development skills as well as back-end or data skills.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I stand out in my field because I am adaptable. In terms of design and development, I am always learning new skills and pushing my personal boundaries.
Q What are you working on right now?
I am working with a business partner on an enterprise software product for small-medium business. Through this venture, I am improving my software development skills.
Q What’s your style?
I gravitate towards modern designs and love to incorporate some color. I like clean designs, with an unexpected element that makes the user excited. I think websites should be both practical and fun, and reflective of the personalities that run the website.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I would love to channel more time and focus into my various entrepreneurial projects. I have always loved technology from a young age. Through the past few years, I realized I can take what I am passionate about and make my passions into a living.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
I feel like one aspect in which I am struggling with professionally is networking. My networking skills need improvement to build out a client list, and an inflow of projects. I am working another role and I wish to pursue client work full time.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
I think if I was going to hire someone for $20, they would definitely be serving in an assistant type role. They would assist me with all the administrative tasks of business. I think a major aspect of an assistant would to be helping with onboarding clients. They would also help with the creative process in terms of design feedback, small project tasks, and helping with any finishing touches.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
I wish I could tell my younger self to have patience and trust the process. When you are younger you think that you know everything and have all the answers.
Computers and technology have always been a hobby to me, and it is not a bad thing to pursue a career in technology. For a long time I was afraid that I wouldn't be happy if I made technology into a professional pursuit, while in reality it was the best career area for me to pursue and aligns with my passions.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I would love to talk to experts who know a lot about building successful businesses and launching entrepreneurial ventures. I would love to discuss how to create a successful business and scale.I would ask these experts on how they made the leap from traditional employment or a salaried role into self employment.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I am looking for freelance web design and development projects in Squarespace as well as UX/UI design projects.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
I think an ideal client or job in freelance would be a new business or organization that needs help not only with their online presence, but their overall positioning strategy and brand image.

An average Squarespace design project starts around $3000. The price of a project depends on the scope of the project, in terms of page count and amount of design details. I can work with a large range of budgets and project types, so don't hesitate to reach out.
