Q What do you do?

I’m a creative director who builds photo and video driven brand worlds for companies. I shape concepts, visual direction, and production for campaigns, editorials, and content platforms from the initial idea through on-set execution and post. I often plug into in-house teams, agencies, and production companies to help define a brand or campaign’s visual language and bring it to life.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I began my career in tech at Apple and Zendesk with a foundation in graphic design, where I learned to build visual systems, brand frameworks, and communicate ideas visually. I went on to lead branded content at Who What Wear and later joined Nike in North America, working on and directing Women’s Lifestyle photo and video campaigns. Over time, I realized my favorite work lived at the intersection of fashion, lifestyle, and brand storytelling, which led me to build my independent practice working across tech, retail, and media.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I sit comfortably between concept and execution. I know how to build strong, ambitious concepts and realize them within budget. I thrive on set and often receive great responses for my ability to multi-task, give decisive feedback, and pivot around issues. . I’m deeply involved in the visual details while staying grounded in production realities, and I love building collaborative teams around each project. I care about creating work that feels elevated, unique, and intentional without being overproduced or stiff.

Q What are you working on right now?

I’m currently working on a mix of editorial shoots and brand campaigns within lifestyle, tech, and fashion. I’m also working on a fun children’s book inspired by my kids and centered around family and culture.

Q What’s your style?

My work leans elevated, unexpected, and intentional. I’m drawn to ideas that feel lived-in and a little unexpected rather than overly polished or trend-chasing. I care about how a brand’s world feels, not just how a single asset looks, and I’m always chasing work that feels human before it feels perfect.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

Narrative-driven photography and film projects that allow space for deeper storytelling. I love projects that live at the intersection of fashion, lifestyle, and culture. I also especially love to do editorial shoots!

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Holding space for unstructured creative thinking in a very scheduled world.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Remind me to drink water :) Also managing contracts, invoices, and simple admin.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

Earlier in my career: you don’t have to fit into one box to be “legitimate.” The in-between space ends up being your edge.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

A developmental psychologist who studies identity shifts in motherhood. I’m curious about how becoming a parent reshapes creative identity and ambition over time. I’ve never felt more energized and excited to create work after having kids, but I want to better understand how to protect that energy long-term.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

Creative direction for photo and video campaigns, editorial storytelling, content platforms, and brand world building. Open to both freelance and longer-term partnerships.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Creative direction for photo and video campaigns, editorial storytelling, content platforms, and brand world building. Open to both freelance and longer-term partnerships.

Q: What is your rate?

My day rate typically starts at $1,500 with my hourly rate around $180–$200, depending on scope and timeline. Project pricing varies based on deliverables, production needs, and overall complexity. I’m always happy to talk through different approaches and find something that makes sense for both sides, especially for longer-term partnerships and ongoing collaborations.

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

Email works well. I find it helpful when intros share what you’re building, what you’re excited about, where things feel unclear, and what kind of creative support would be most useful right now. From there, I like to ask questions, help clarify scope, approach, and next steps so we can make the most of working together.

Q Who is a creative you admire?

Nick D’Amico — Nick is a design director specializing in custom typography, layout, and identity systems. We’ve collaborated closely for over a decade and even ran a studio together. He has an incredible eye and a rare ability to translate brand ideas into beautiful, functional design.

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?

I overindulge in fun moments with my kids. I love decorating and designing things at home for them and finding small ways to make everyday life feel a little more whimsical. It’s a way to stay creative outside of work with a pretty great payoff.
